Hello LinkedIn community! Excel is a powerful tool that enables efficient data management and analysis. In this article, we will explore a useful feature of Excel—inserting multiple hyperlinks within cells.
Step 1: Select the Target Cells
Start by selecting the cell(s) where you want to insert the multiple hyperlinks. Click and drag your mouse or use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate to the desired cells.
Step 2: Access the Hyperlink Dialog Box
Right-click on the selected cells to open the context menu. Choose "Hyperlink" from the options provided. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+K" to access the hyperlink dialog box.
Step 3: Inserting a Single Website or Web Page Link
If you wish to insert a hyperlink to a single website or web page, follow these steps:
1. In the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box, select "Existing File or Web Page" on the left side.
2. Enter the URL of the website or web page in the "Address" field.
3. Click on the "OK" button to insert the hyperlink.

To insert multiple hyperlinks within a cell or across multiple cells, follow these steps:
1. In the "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box, choose "Place in This Document" on the left side.
2. In the "Type the cell reference" field, enter the desired label or text for the hyperlink.
3. In the "Or select a place in this document" section, click on the cell within the workbook where you want the hyperlink to navigate.
4. Click on the "OK" button to insert the hyperlink.

Unless I am mistaken, you can't have multiple links in a single cell. You can link to multiple different cells from multiple cells or multiple URLs from multiple cells, but only one link per cell.
