Converting documents to PDF is standard for white papers and free downloads given away by small businesses. If you are downloading these kinds of papers, you can protect the integrity of your corporate network by always searching PDFs for hidden files. Some data may be useful, requiring you to keep it and print the data using a different word processor. The latest versions of Adobe Acrobat have the ability to show hidden text without removing it from your document. Use this feature to display hidden text, and then copy and paste your document into a new Word file to print the previously hidden messages.
Locate the PDF document containing the hidden text by clicking the "File" menu and selecting "Choose File."
2.
Select the "Document" menu and click the “Examine Document.” Adobe Acrobat will scan the PDF file you selected and present you with a checklist of items you can remove by clicking on them.

In order to reveal hidden text in the pdf file, it can be checked with Adobe Acrobat Pro before using TVT. This can be done by running the "Remove Hidden Information" action under the "Protection" tools in Acrobat. In the case, the files have an identical layout you can also use the optional TVT Artwork Module.
Using your mouse cursor, highlight the text you want to redact. A temporary red redaction box appears to let you confirm the text you wish to obscure. Click “Apply Redaction,” then be sure to save a copy of the document. The text is now permanently obscured.
If you notice your text disappearing in Preview and Print or on your PDF, we suggest deleting the text box in the customize screen, then re-add the text box and type the text again. This should make the text appear on the PDF.
