How to Transfer Money from Venmo to Cash App: 4 Easy Ways? ›

The easiest way to transfer money in both directions is to add your Cash App account as a bank account on Venmo. You can also use your Cash Card as a payment method on Venmo, or your Venmo debit card as a payment method in Cash App.

Tap Instant (for a small fee) or 1-3 Biz Days (for no fee), then select the bank account or debit card you want to use for your transfer. Confirm your transfer details, then tap the green Transfer button.

There is no option to transfer money directly from PayPal to the Cash app. However, you can transfer money to your linked bank account, then to the Cash app. Or, you can get the Cash App Cash Card and link it to PayPal.

Your debit card or bank account may not be eligible to process the instant transfer. The information you entered when linking your bank account doesn't match what your bank has on file. Double-check your bank information. If the existing information is incorrect, please remove your bank account and link it again.

Sending and receiving money is free. Standard transfers also charge no fees and take one to three business days to complete. An instant transfer is also an option, but it costs 0.50% to 1.75% of the transfer amount, with a minimum fee of $0.25.

Instant transfers with Venmo allow you to send money to any eligible U.S. bank account or Visa/Mastercard debit card, typically within 30 minutes. A 1.75% fee (with a minimum fee of $0.25 and a maximum fee of $25) is deducted from the transfer amount for each transfer.
