I've accidentally inverted the colours on my Xperia smartphone
If everything on your phone screen lookslike a negative of a photo, you might have accidentally inverted or reversed the screen's colours. To change the screen colours back to their default setting, follow the steps below:
- Find and openSettings on your smartphone.
- Using the search bar in the Settings menu, search for Colour Inversion.
- Alternatively, you can go toAccessibility → Text and display → Colour Inversion.
- In the Colour Inversion tab, switch off the toggle next to "Use colour inversion" to return your phone to its default colour setting.
If you can't find the Colour Inversion setting, restart your smartphone or reset it to its default settings.
What is Colour Inversion on a smartphone, and why would someone want to use it?
Colour Inversion is a display mode that reverses the colours of your smartphone's screen, just likea negative of a photo. It turns light screens dark and dark screens light.
If you're visually impaired or are sensitive to bright colours, Colour Inversion can help youread your smartphone screen. Reversing the colours can also preventeye strain if you use your smartphone for an extended period.
