The information in the desktop tray is unique to your account and shows the most recent activities that have occurred to the files and folders that you manage.
This information is unique to your account and helps you access your most important files and folders. Information is accessible through the Dropbox desktop app, Dropbox mobile app, and dropbox.com.
The Your activity feed shows the list of files and folders you recently opened or edited. If you’re a member of a Dropbox team account, you’ll also see the Team activity tab that shows your team’s shared activity.
To view your activity:
- On the desktop app, click the Dropbox icon in yournotification center (Windows)ormenu bar (Mac).
- Click the Your activityor Team activity tab.
- If you’re a member of a Dropbox team account, you can switch betweenYour activityandTeam activityto see your activity or your team’s shared-file activity.
Notifications
On the desktop and mobile apps, yourNotificationsfeed displaysfile and folder activities like tags, shares and mentions.

- Log in to dropbox.com.
- Click the bell icon in the bottom-left corner.

Recents
On the mobile app and dropbox.com, your Recents feed is similar to your Activity feed but only focuses on your activity.
To view your recent activity:
- On dropbox.com, clickAll filesin the left sidebar. Then,click theRecentstab underAll fileson the main page.
- On the mobile app, tap theHometab at the bottom, then tapRecent(Android) orRecents(iOS) near the top.
