Manage Wi-Fi Security (Android Only)
Manage Wi-Fi security is a setting that lets you edit your saved Wi-Fi networks that are always blocked or always allowed.
These lists prevent your device from connecting to networks that you know are unprotected to safeguard your personal data. It also lets your device automatically connect to trusted networks to avoid unnecessary data usage.
To edit your saved Wi-Fi preferences:
- Open the Digital Secure app.
- TapSecurity & Privacy.
- TapWi-Fi security.
To unblock a network:
- TapBlocked networksunder Manage Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the networks you'd like to unblock.
- TapRemoveat the bottom of the screen.
To remove an allowed network:
- TapAllowed networksunder Manage Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the networks you'd like to delete.
- TapRemoveat the bottom of the screen.
You've successfully edited your saved Wi-Fi preferences.
Scan your Wi-Fi for threats
You can manually scan your Wi-Fi for threats at any time.
Android
- Open the Digital Secure app.
- TapSecurity & Privacy.
- TapScan.
You'll see a Digital Secure icon appear in the Notification Panel. You've successfully scanned your device for Wi-Fi threats.
iOS
- Open the Digital Secure app.
- TapSecurity.
- Tap theScanbutton.
You'll see a Digital Secure icon appear in the Notification Panel. You've successfully scanned your device for Wi-Fi threats.
Disable Wi-Fi Security (Android Only)
Wi-Fi security is on by default and provides valuable warnings about unsecure Wi-Fi networks. We recommend you keep this feature on.
However, if you wish to disable Wi-Fi security:
- Open the Digital Secure app.
- TapSecurity & Privacy.
- TapWi-Fi security.
- Tap the Wi-Fi security switch to turn it off.
