Customized quotes
Everyone’s crypto buying needs and purchasing methods are different. That’s why we take into account multiple factors to present you with a customized quote.
- Region: Available to users in 189 countries.
- Payment Method: Availability of payment methods will vary by location. Choose from debit or credit card, PayPal (U.S. only excl. Hawaii), Bank Transfer, Instant ACH, and other local methods. More payment methods will be added soon.
- Token: 90+ tokens available to purchase across 10+ networks including Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche Contract Chain, Fantom, and Celo among others.
- Amount: Based on the region you select and its various KYC laws, you could be subject to order limits.
Instant wallet funding
Your account balance is updated automatically in MetaMask once the purchase is executed with the provider. Now, you no longer have to wait to send money from a centralized exchange over to MetaMask.

How to use the Buy feature in MetaMask Portfolio
To fund your wallet:
- Connect your MetaMask wallet to portfolio.metamask.io
- Click the “Buy” tab to get started
- Select your region
- Select payment method
- Select the token and network you want to purchase on (example: ETH on Ethereum)
- Enter the amount desired in fiat (example: $100 of ETH)
- All quotes from the different available providers will be presented and select one to continue.
- You'll be securely redirected to their website to complete the purchase and funds will be deposited in your MetaMask wallet.
