Will I ever get unbanned from Hinge? ›

An alert will immediately inform you of the situation, resulting in the loss of access to your matches, messages, and any other data within the app. The bad news is that – A Hinge ban is irreversible and permanent.

As it turns out, it was nothing more than another routine safety measure implemented by the apps' shared owner. Upon further research, I discovered Tinder and Hinge are owned by the same company, Match Group. And, a ban on one platform means an automatic ban on the other.
