I have successfully passed my FTMO Challenge, now what? ›

As soon as you succeed in all Trading Objectives and your results are reviewed, you can complete your FTMO Identity to sign the contract for your FTMO Account. No need to wait any longer!

After you pass all the Trading Objectives in your FTMO Challenge, you will see a notification in your Account MetriX informing you about your success, and you won't need to trade the account anymore as your Trading Objectives are marked as passed.

You will receive your Funded Trader Certificate around two business days after passing your first Trading Combine. This certificate is sent to you after passing the Trading Combine for the first time only.

The one-time fee for an FTMO Challenge covers it all, including the Verification, there are absolutely no recurring fees with us. Moreover, your fee will be reimbursed to you when you successfully pass the FTMO Challenge and Verification with the first Profit Split on your FTMO Account.

For example, if a trader starts trading on the 1st of April, the first Profit Split Day will be available on the 15th of April, and the latest option for the Profit Split Day will be after 60 days, hence 31st May. The payouts are processed within 1-2 business days upon confirming the invoice.

Upon successfully passing a Prop Firm Challenge, traders may be required to fund their trading accounts with an initial amount. The firm may also have scaling plans that determine how much capital traders can access based on their performance. Understanding these conditions is vital for your success in the challenge.

There is estimated to be a 90% fail rate of traders that take the FTMO challenge. The reason behind this is due to traders chasing the profit target with a time restriction in place. A trader doesnt know when a winning streak might occur, or when they may take a string of drawdowns.

You can get a free retake for the FTMO challenge if you fulfill 3 out of the 4 trading objectives and do not breach any of the FTMO rules. If, at the end of the challenge, your account ends up in profit, with all positions closed, then you are eligible for a free retake.

A large number of funded accounts operate under a maximum drawdown rule. This rule sets the ceiling on how much money you can lose. Cross this limit, and you risk losing your trading privileges in that account. Essentially, if you can't manage risk, the firm will manage you — by terminating your account.

FTMO Challenge Rules

Key rules include: Profit Target: Achieve a certain profit target, usually 10% for the Challenge and 5% for the Verification. Maximum Daily Loss: The maximum amount you can lose in a single day, typically 5% of your initial account balance.

How much profit do you keep from FTMO? ›

Each trader with an FTMO Account is entitled to receive a reward of up to 80% of simulated profits. This means he/she is entitled to the reward after meeting the necessary conditions and achieving success on an FTMO Account.

With FTMO, once you get to the FTMO Trader stage you can receive real rewards for your performance. You can withdraw your reward anytime between 14 to 60 days from your first trade on your FTMO Account (Profit Split).

You will be removed from the Premium Programme if one of the following situations occurs: You fail the FTMO Account which is part of the Premium Programme. You fail 3 accounts regardless of the of the stage (FTMO Challenge, Verification, FTMO Account) You breach the contractual requirements of the Premium Programme.

His RRR (2.79) is also much better as it allows the trader to be profitable in the long run even if more than half of the trades end in a loss (success rate of 45.95%). The ratio of profitable to losing days is similar (7:8), but even in this case, it does not pose any serious problem.

Just keep in mind that our maximum capital allocation on FTMO Accounts is $400,000 per trader/strategy. If you are successful and consistent in the long run, your FTMO Account balance can be increased according to our Scaling Plan. If you are able to repeatedly pass our Free Trial, then there are chances you can succeed in the full FTMO Challenge as well. This should encourage you to start your journey to become one of our FTMO Traders. Please note that Free Trials don't give you any eligibility to automatically secure your FTMO Account.

Clients are entitled to up to 90% of profits generated on an FTMO Account. If you wish to trade with a higher account balance, you can simply apply for another FTMO Challenge.
