Coffee is the second-most consumed beverage in the world. Marking International Coffee Day, we have compiled a list of the 10 countries with the highest coffee consumption per person.
1. Finland (12 kg per capita)

5. Netherlands(8.4 kg per capita)
With an average consumption of 2 cups of coffee per day, the Netherlands comes in fifth.
6. Sweden (8.1 kg per capita)
Did you know Swedes have a word for a coffee break? Yes, it’s Fika, translated as ‘a coffee and cake break’.
7. Switzerland(7.9 kg per capita)

8. Belgium (6.8 kg per capita)
The pod-based and classic Americano is the most preferred coffee drink in Belgium.
