Airbnb Inquiries and Requests to Book

The Special Offer feature allows you to set a custom price for a guest who submits an inquiry. An inquiry is a question from a guest, it's not a request that can be approved or denied.

If they've already booked or requested your place, you can't send a special offer—but you can still give them a discount by changing the reservation details.

Invitation to book: Allows you to book for the dates and prices shown when you contacted the Host. Special offer: Host chooses a custom price (or other details) and invites you to book with the new details. You'll have 24 hours to accept the special offer.
