iPhone 11 in 2024: A Comprehensive Review
Greetings, everyone! I’m From Fatafat Sewa, and today I’ll be sharing my insights on the iPhone 11 in 2024. One of my team members has been using this device since its launch in 2019, and we aim to determine whether it’s still a sensible purchase in 2024? The iPhone 11 gained immense popularity last year, holding the title of the highest-selling iPhone. But with newer models provides 5G connectivity, improved cameras, and sleeker designs, is the iPhone 11 still worth buying in 2024? Let’s take a bite out of this question with a long-term review.
Specifications:
Before jumpin into the review, let’s quickly glance at the iPhone 11’s specifications:
- Display: 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD LCD
- Processor: A13 Bionic chip
- Storage: 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB
- Rear Camera: Dual 12MP (wide and ultrawide)
- Front Camera: 12MP TrueDepth
- Battery: Up to 17 hours of video playback
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC
- Software: Currently supports iOS 16, upgradable to iOS 17 (support beyond that uncertain)
Design
The iPhone 11’s design remains attractive in 2024, showcasing Apple’s subtle yet timeless approach. Despite its age, it closely resembles newer models like the iPhone 12, 13, 14 and 15, with differences mainly in color options and finishes. The compact size and weight distribution make it comfortable, offering durability with ceramic shield protection and aluminum frames.
Speakers and Haptics:
While lacking Dynamic Island, the iPhone 11 gives you good stereo speakers with balanced and loud output. The haptic feedback enhances the overall user experience.
Cameras:
Surprisingly, the iPhone 11’s dual-camera setup continues to impress, producing sharp, crisp images with vibrant colors. In camera comparisons with the Samsung Galaxy S23, the iPhone 11 holds its ground, excelling in contrast and color reproduction.
Performance:
Powered by the A13 Bionic chipset, the iPhone 11 demonstrates strong performance, handling everyday tasks and demanding games effortlessly. The device’s longevity is ensured with Apple’s commitment to updates until 2025.
Battery Life:
Experience uninterrupted usage throughout your day with the iPhone 11’s impressive battery performance. With up to 17 hours of video playback, you can enjoy your favorite movies, shows, and videos without worrying about running out of power. Whether you’re streaming content, browsing the web, or gaming on-the-go, the iPhone 11 keeps up with your busy lifestyle. However, typically, using the original Apple 18W USB-C power adapter and a USB-C to Lightning cable, the iPhone 11 can charge from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes. A full charge may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Connectivity:
The iPhone 11 has good connections, like fast Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC for payments. But it doesn’t have 5G, which is faster. Newer phones might get updates longer. So, if you don’t need 5G or updates for a long time, the iPhone 11 is fine. But if you want the latest stuff and updates for longer, look at newer models.
The latest iPhone 11 price in Nepal is NPR 75,000 for the 128GB variant, while the 256GB and 512GB models are no longer in stock. You can buy iPhone 11 in Nepal from authorized retailers like Fatafat Sewa.
The Verdict:
The iPhone 11 remains a decent option in 2024, but your decision depends on your priorities. If budget is key and you prioritize basic smartphone functionality, it’s a good choice. However, if you crave the latest features, top-notch cameras, and guaranteed future software support, consider newer models like the iPhone 12 or 13.
