Is Angular dying? This is a question that many web developers have been asking lately, as the popularity of Angular seems to be declining in recent years. Angular is a front-end framework that was created by Google in 2010 and has since undergone several major updates and changes. According to the Stack Overflow Developer Survey 20231, Angular was used by 18.7% of developers, which is a decrease from 22.9% in 20222 and 30.7% in 20213. Angular ranked as the fourth most popular web framework, behind React (40.5%), Vue (23.4%), and jQuery (19.8%). The survey also showed that Angular had a lower satisfaction rate (58.6%) than React (74.5%) and Vue (66.9%).
