I have come to the conclusion in which Naruto Uzumaki is capable of awakening the Rinnegan through DNA infusion similar to that of Madara Uchiha's way of awakening his Rinnegan by infusing Senju DNA which he acquired through Hashirama Senju with his Uchiha DNA. Looking at Naruto's blood line he is 1/2 Uzumaki through his late mother Kushina Uzumaki. That being said, it has been noted that the members of the Uzumaki Clan are descendants of the Senju Clan, in which case Naruto is technically Senju in sense of lineage. This being the case should Naruto happen to infuse his Uzumaki/Senju DNA with Uchiha DNA would he not be capable of awakening the Rinnegan? Technically The Seju and Uchiha DNA combination recreates the Ōtsutsuki DNA which allows one to obtain the ocular powers of the Rinnegan. Would it really matter the order in which the DNA was infused to the other (Uchiha to Senju, Senju to Uchiha) to awken the Rinnegan? Would it only be successful if one has already awakened a Dojutsu 'notably the Sharingan'? I personally do not think so simply because Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki did not require any form of Dojutsu prior to awakening his Rinnegan. Although he naturally contained the necessary DNA being a direct descendant of his late mother Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. It's all so fascinating... yet so confusing. What are your thoughts regarding this matter?

It's because the idea is weird. Naruto has relied on physical strength not eye power. Eye power is Sasuke's domain.

He's already got complete Kurama with him and also sage mode and stuff . Do he really need a Rinnegan ?. What's the point in it then if he's already that godly.

So, for an Uchiha, He must have a senju's DNA to awaken the rinneganAnd for a Senju, he must only have the Sharingan to awaken it

Considering that the Sharingan is apparently a reaction of an Uchiha's body, i would say that it's possible for Senju to obtain a "natural" sharingan. However, just like for Madara, it would probably require a lot of maturing to do before the Rinnegan is obtained. After all, Madara obtained the Rinnegan pretty much on his death bed.

I think that If sasuke gave his eyes to naruto after a while naruto would awaken Rinnegan, But he would not be able to use all of the powers,....
I think this is what naruto needs for a fully operational rinnegan
He would need: Sasuke body (cells maybe a lot), Sasuke's eyes
Since the fact is if you do not have uchiha DNA you cant use the full rinnegan, like how madara GAVE his rinnegan to nagato, Nagato was a uzumaki so he could use it and handle it but could not use all of the powers included with it(Because rinnegan is ubgraded sharingan) like susano'o and amaretsu or others. So if naruto had sharingan and sasukes cells then he would be able to unlock it

Honestly I still think naruto can unlock it but it would be a a rare thing for anyone to do cause nagato was with his parents when they died then with konan and yahiko. Later with jiriaya ( I pray is spelled that right) but as far as I know the anime never said anything about him meeting madara so him giving him the dojutsu seems more like a fan made thing unless someone can provide proof and not from a fandom page I mean anime or manga/light novel

@Tonyshadowstride UMMM no sorry but you wrong... Madara did give his rinnegan to Nagato and the only reason he was able to use/handle it was becasue he is a uzumaki which is related to senju which is purely related to Ashura chakra and you need ashura or indra to use it but if you didnt unlock it or have both chakras you will not be able to use it to the full extent, becaue Hagoromo unlocked the rinnegan that mean only his chakra unlocks it which means u need ashura and indra chakra because thos combined makes Hagoromo's chakra. If you finished the anime rewatch it pls becasue at the end it explains :)

Naruto can unlock the rinnegan because naruto is a uzumaki and itachi made him eat the crow with shisui's eye now naruto has both uchiha and senju dna because the uzumaki is the related to senju so he has the dna seeing how it took nagato a tragic event to get his naruto would need to have the same thing that uchiha's need to get the mangekyou so if sasuke destroyed the leaf like he wanted and killed everyone than naruto would get the rinnegan
