Import Passwords to iCloud Keychain
You can import a CSV file containing passwords directly to iCloud Keychain on your Mac. Here's what you need to do:
- OpenSystem Preferenceson your Mac.
- Click onPasswords, and authenticate using Touch ID or your password to gain access.
- Click on thethree dotsat the bottom, and selectImport Passwords.
- Select the CSV file you previously downloaded to your computer. This should add all your passwords to iCloud Keychain.

Hi,
I am trying to import passwords from Roboform. Trying to import the .csv file, I get the error message "Passwords could not import passwords from the CSV file because it is missing column labels. If you exported this file from a password manager, export a different file using different settings and try the import again"
In the meantime, there is no settings tab in RoboForm, defining the CSV file format.
Any suggestions ???
Thanks

I am unable to do this. I am trying to move passwords on 1Password to Keychain. I save the file as a CSV on the desktop and when I try and import it I cannot as it remains greyed out. I have tried drag and drop with no luck. I am using an old Mac with High Sierra 10.13.6.
Any advice
Thanks.

Hi,
it is very simple KeyChain expects the column names in de file. I exported a file from the password manager in Sonoma and the upper line contains:
Title,URL,Username,Password,Notes,OTPAuth
The order of column names is not important

Open the CSV file in a Text Editor or spreadsheet & insert labels...
Examble...
A CSV file is a list of data separated by commas. For instance, it may look like the following:
- Name,email,phone number,address
- Example,example@example.com,555-555-5555,Example Address
- Example2,example2@example.com,555-555-5551,Example2 Address
