Reviews on here are misleading
I read the reviews before I watched it on this website and they were so misleading. Literally wasn’t a bad movie at all, no sex, barely any talk of it, and only a few cuss words here and there. Absolutely should not be rated R. Amazing movie. Only thing that is “adultish” is they mention p*rn once. Definitely would let anyone in middle school or older watch

Good movie, lots of language
This is a very good basketball movie, but it has an unnecessary amount of language. There are plenty f-bombs at least thirty, and much other language. There are also inappropriate jokes and cruel smack talk and talk about the main character buying and watching p*rno.

Only R for swearing
While movies with cameos often have poor plots, this movie did not. It is inspiring, with people like Adam Sandler, Anthony Edwards, and even Boban. Great movie. While it fits under R only because of the two F-bombs, it should be Pg-13

Pretty good
Good movie the only reason it is R is because of swearing and some sex jokes

Excellent movie, although a few points.
I absolutely enjoyed this movie because of how motivational, heartwarming and inspiring it is. However, I do think this movie is a bit too young for my age, (9.) Constant swearing is shown, like; a**, p**n, and a couple f-bombs. So I suggest to watch out. There isn't exactly any violence, and any nudity shown on camera, except for a woman's back was turned during a pool scene, and you can sorta see her 'things' from the side, not fully though. What I enjoyed about this movie, is the father-daughter love between Bo and his daughter, it reminded me of me, (but a boy ofc) and my dad. It was also very inspiring, especially on the scenes where he reached his goal, and the scenes where he trains with Stanley as his 'coach'.Overall, this was a beautiful-long movie, I just don't think its for kids around my age, (which is very obvious, it explicitly states 16+ on Netflix. I just never listen 😂)

Highly Recommend
Quite enjoyable even if you're not into basketball (like me). It has loads of excellent messages and role models but there is quite a few f-bombs. If you're ok with that then you'll be fine to watch the movie.

2022 is on a winning streak!
Amazing, heartwarming basketball movie with incredible performances from Adam Sandler and Jazz’ power forward Juancho Hernangómez, along with an insane amount of cameos from various NBA stars, including many from my home team, the 76ers. Overall, this movie was pretty appropriate for teens, and pretty tame for an R-rated movie, though it has a bit of cursing (about 30 uses of f—k, non-pervasive and other lesser words), some sexual references, and an abrupt but brief glimpse of a woman’s side-breast at a pool. Overall, this movie was surprisingly good, especially for a Netflix movie, and I would highly recommend to anyone, whether a basketball fan or not. This movie is definitely up there with some of the best feel-good sports films, and I can’t wait to hear all the good things people have to say about it. Enjoy!
