God Of War vs Marvel Cinematic Universe, two of the most powerfull characters would fight in this battle

Interlude[]

(https://youtu.be/3GjNX7jcLK0 Audio Machine - War Of Faith)

Wiz: power, strength, obsession and anger.

Boomstick: things that don't mix very well.

Wiz: But these two warriors are really powerful and feared.

Boomstick: as Kratos, The God Of War.

Wiz: and Thanos, The Mad titan.

Boomstick: he is Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: and our job is to analyze their weapons, armor and abilities to see who would win a Battle of Death

Kratos[]

(https://youtu.be/y9hh91-2iaA God Of War - Theme) History:

Wiz:demigod son of Zeus and a mortal woman named Callisto, although he would remain unaware of who his father was for most of his life.

Boomstick: Faye, his future second wife, while trying to retrieve the Leviathan Axe in a nearby forest. They soon gave birth to a son named Atreus, although Faye initially wanted to name him Loki. The boy was raised mainly by Faye, who taught him how to hunt and how to read the Nordic language, among other things. Per Faye's request, Kratos never took Atreus hunting since the boy was constantly sick. When Faye spoke about the Aesir Gods, Kratos decided to listen to her stories.

Wiz: In an effort to practice control, Kratos would often "test" himself by venturing into the woods in search of enemies. While Faye thought Kratos was looking to pick fights, Kratos was actually seeking to control his rage by not fighting and only defending and deflecting attacks until his enemies tire themselves out. It is implied he failed repeatedly until, in one instance, he encountered wolves and succeeded in fending them off. However, trolls appeared and were able to push Kratos to the point he lost control and he slaughtered the trolls with ease, causing Kratos great anger with himself. Kratos would continue to "test" himself, resulting in him not being home very often. This led Atreus to believe Kratos does not care about him or Faye.

Boomstick: Kratos rarely instructed Atreus to perform any chores since he was always away and did not know how healthy Atreus was. Instead, he reinforced Faye's instructions such as when Faye told Atreus to cut some firewood, Kratos (after forcing it out of Atreus) enforced the decision and told Atreus to pull his weight.

Wiz: after Faye died: Kratos has to teach his son to be a warrior and at the same time master his anger, his purpose is to take Faye's ashes to the highest mountain, but on the way they met several enemies and even Aesir.

Abilities:

Boomstick: As the demigod son of Zeus, Kratos possesses incredible superhuman physical prowess, beyond that of any mortal or beast and later surpassing all other Greek Gods, the exact limits of which are yet to be determined. His absorption of many of the powers of the Gods seemingly enchanted his powers. Due to these abilities, combined with his combat experience over the years Kratos was able to defeat monsters, magical beings, Titans and even the Gods themselves.

Wiz: His age does not hamper his physical capabilities and combat skills at all, as he has displayed the ability to outmatch the most physically powerful of the Norse Gods, such as Baldur and Magni. When using the Spartan Rage, he was able to easily scare off Modi. With the knowledge of Kratos being involved in Ragnarok being enough to make Odin fear the Ghost of Sparta, it seems that Kratos's might rivals, if not, surpasses that of Thor and Odin, two of the most powerful Norse Gods.

Boomstick: being a demigod: Kratos is incredibly strong, his age does not harm his strength, in God Of War 4 he was able to break the neck of a troll with bare hands, next to Baldur they split the earth in half, he was able to push a fact of gold and stone, according to the director of the game: weighs twice that the bridge of San Francisco, a total of 1,774 thousand tons, stopped the hand of Thamur, surpasses in force Baldur, the god of light who knocked out the Jörmundgander Snake with just 3 strokes, a snake that surrounds the world and next to Thor made the nine kingdoms of the Yggdrassil tremble, etc. He is really strong.

Wiz: Kratos is extremely durable, capable of resisting falls from great heights and walking away unharmed, being crushed, stabbed, beaten, hit and burned by various enemies and traps without any lasting damage, as well as surviving extreme environments such as Hel, the Nordic Kingdom of dead, which Mimir said was said to be so cold that not even Odin himself can survive there for a long time, as well as Muspelheim. In addition, the blows of most physically powerful opponents have little or no effect against him. And it has a great healing factor. similar to Logan's.

Boomstick: Kratos is incredibly fast, capable of matching the likes of Zeus who has the speed of lightning, Charon, Hermes, and Pollux and Castor who possessed Chronokinesis. His speed can at times prove to be a major factor in his victories, as shown by how he used his superior speed to kill Magni before he could react. This is further enhanced when he gained Boots of Hermes. Despite him being physically slower than Baldur his reflexes are enough to react or block his attacks, You can also keep up with the Valkyrias, beings capable of traveling between the 9 kingdoms in a matter of seconds.

Wiz: He also has pyrokinesis. Throughout his trip, Kratos has been endowed with various powers to manipulate fire. First it was the Fire of Ares, which allowed him to strengthen his weapons to create explosions of fire with combos and enchant general attacks with fire, as well as create scorching fire nuclei. The second was Thera's Bane, which allowed him to greatly increase the power of the Athena Swords and also create explosive scorching cores. The wrath of the Titans was acquired when he released Prometheus from his torment, which allowed him to generate bursts of fire and torrents. Upon arriving in the Nordic Kingdom, Kratos somehow acquired the power of Spartan Rage, which allowed him to empower his fists with fire and empower the thrown stones to explode upon impact. You can also use the Chaos Swords to channel the fire, although only after arriving in Midgard.

Boomstick: Kratos is an extremely accomplished fighter with tremendous mastery over armed and melee combat. His abilities were already large enough to allow him to be one of the best warriors in Sparta, considering he was one of the most respected Spartan generals. After discovering his powers and being trained by the Gods themselves, Kratos becomes much more formidable than ever, allowing him to easily slaughter many opponents and also defeat the Gods. His age did not hinder his ability at all, which allowed him to hunt monsters effectively and proved to be able to dominate the likes of Magni, Baldur and even the Nine Valkyrie in battle, Kratos could manipulate the Swords of Chaos and Swords Athena with high precision and ability to devastately assault his enemies at any distance and at high speed, use them as a rope to swing on a hook, Kratos is extremely skilled at wielding an ax in combat. Kratos has used the Leviathan ax with a devastating ability against numerous enemies. He has killed countless monsters with him and even managed to kill the Demi-god Magni using the ax.

Wiz: Boomstick: he also has Spartan anger, in this way: Kratos unleashes all his anger and becomes an unstoppable force, is able to use fire powers and create shock waves with his punches.

Boomstick: wiz: also Kratos is something immortal, according to the director: he has a curse that prevents him from dying and always coming back, Furies could not kill Kratos, Ares could not kill Kratos, The sisters of fate could not kill Kratos, Zeus and Olympus could not kill Kratos, not even Kratos can kill Kratos.

weapons:

Wiz: He has a total of 3 weapons in the last game.

Boomstick: When he is in the Nordic Kingdom, Kratos seems to have lost all the weapons he obtained from his quest for revenge, being destroyed by Zeus when he was fighting him. But it shows that the Swords of Chaos are still in their possession, but he decides to hide them under his cabin. This probably acts as a way to move forward while remembering the atrocities he committed, the swords of chaos work like a kind of hook and are so hot as not to go out in a world where fire does not exist.

Wiz: He also has the leviathan ax, an ice ax that works similar to Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, It was originally owned by Faye, the mother of her future son, Atreus .. The ax has the properties of ice magic, since when you turn your sword you create waves of light blue energy, which can be loaded, and hit the ground freeze enemies near impact. Kratos also throws the ax directly at the opponents in battle and it seems that he can return to his hand raising it, but only for a limited range. While Blades of Chaos, whom he unearthed to fight forces in Helheim, possessed the properties of fire, which can also burn enemies in a certain combined attack, Leviathan's ice magic is very effective against enemies with the Burn attribute , while The blazing blow of the blades effectively damages those of Frost. After meeting with Brok and Sindri, slots of gems called runic attacks are given on the head of each weapon that modifies the skills of the ax and the blades.

Boomstick: Kratos also wields the Guardian Shield, a golden circular shield attached to a golden gauntlet in his arm that he uses both offensively and defensively. He wears it like a brace for his left forearm but it instantly retracts to its full form at will. He is shown to pair this with his axe or his left Blade of Chaos in battle. He can infuse the magical abilities of his axe and the fire of his left Blade of Chaos into the shield, allowing for more explosive and devastating combos. And he is able to parry with the shield, managing to deflect enemy projectiles back at them.

Personality:

Wiz: Throughout most of the series (particularly the later entries preceding his journey to Norway), Kratos is incredibly cruel, reckless, and destructive, willing to kill anyone who gets in his way, even innocent people. He is also shown to be incapable of accepting full responsibility for his actions, usually blaming the gods (especially Zeus, Ares, and Athena) for his suffering while ignoring or denying his own part in it. The memory of his misdeeds has driven Kratos to attempt suicide on at least two separate occasions. He is greatly stoic and silent, speaks only when necessary and often only what absolutely needs to be said.

Boomstick: Earlier on in the series canon, he is less callous towards the lives of others, albeit perfectly willing to sacrifice an innocent bystander when it is required of him. He also exhibits a deep sense of shame and horror at his reputation as the Ghost of Sparta. One example is when Kratos tries to convince a woman in Athens to give him a key, only for her to run away in terror and call him a monster; Kratos is visibly aghast by the fear and hatred others have for him. This shame was further demonstrated when he observed the massacres committed by Ares' minions, causing him to question what he had become. In God of War: Ascension, his earliest canonical appearance, he genuinely mourns the death of Orkos and the Delphic Oracle, even giving Orkos a decent funeral pyre. In Delphi, when Castor orders the guards to remove Kratos from the Oracle's temple, Kratos spares them when they have the good sense to flee. On the island of Delos, he is merciful enough to push an innocent man out of the way of an incoming spear, whereas he would have most likely just let him die in later games. It is possible that Kratos had yet to develop the apathy for others' lives that would come with his later experiences, but this is not proven.

Wiz: He is also very libidinous and sexually passionate with many women, although as stated by Gaia, he never found true happiness or comfort in these acts, with Lysandra being the only woman he ever loved.

Boomstick: Before and during the original God of War, Kratos was also respectful towards gods and divine entities (with the exception of Ares, whom he also called "Lord" up until his betrayal and Persephone), to the point of calling them "Lords", although he did not fully trust them. As time went on, he became disillusioned with the gods and began to respect them less and less. At the end of his service to the gods of Olympus, when it became clear that they would never relieve him of his nightmares, he became openly defiant and hostile towards them, even after being made a god himself, his hatred, however, reached its peak after learning of their role in his mother’s and brother's suffering after which he swore vengeance upon them. He was also respectful towards Gaia due to her helping him in his quest, although he was skeptical as to why she was doing so. He also put the titan Prometheus out of his misery after the latter begged for his death. Kratos even made amends with Atlas, despite being the cause of his new imprisonment. Following Gaia's betrayal, Kratos lost all respect for divine beings and began ruthlessly murdering god and titan alike. However, he was tolerant of Aphrodite and Hephaestus since they are both in different (and in the latter's case, even somewhat supportive) to his war on Olympus. By the time of God of War III, Kratos is so blinded by rage and obsessed with killing Zeus that he does not notice, or care, that he is destroying entire Greece in his quest for revenge, coldly ignoring the warnings of Athena, Poseidon, Hera, and Zeus himself that his murdering of the gods would bring about the end of life on the Grecian world. He does, however, express extreme guilt for what he has done to Greece after killing Zeus, ultimately attempting suicide over it.

Wiz: In spite of his cruel acts, Kratos is shown to care deeply for his wife and daughter, with the memories of their deaths driving him to the point of madness. In fact, the one and only time Kratos is shown to be happy is when he briefly reunites with his daughter, Calliope, in Chains of Olympus. He also cared for his younger brother Deimos and his mother Callisto, with their deaths further contributing to his growing hatred for the Gods of Olympus. In addition, Kratos respected his fellow Spartans, including the Last Spartan who he encountered several times during God of War: Ghost of Sparta and God of War II. When he learned of Sparta's destruction at Zeus' hand, Kratos was devastated and angrily demanded that Zeus come down and face him. During his battle with Zeus at the end of God of War II, he declared that he would not let him destroy Sparta, demonstrating that he cared for Sparta and its people. In God of War III, Kratos grows attached to Pandora as she reminds him of his own daughter, even mistaking her for Calliope upon their first encounter, despite the fact that she's only an "object". He became filled with rage after Hera insulted Pandora, and responded by killing her. Kratos ultimately tried to stop Pandora from sacrificing herself, although he was unsuccessful.

Boomstick: When Kratos encountered his half-siblings or cousins, he merely ignored them or told them to step aside, indicating that he does not harbor any particular hatred for them, but will fight them if the need comes to it. This was shown in his confrontations with Theseus, Perseus, and Hermes where he only fought them after they initiated the battle by provoking him. Despite that, he will attempt to dissuade them, as seen when he attempted to reason with Hercules but killed him in a brawl. He will also kill them if necessary, as he had no qualms in killing Peirithous to get the Bow of Apollo. He can show care for them, as he displayed care for Athena to some degree (and vice versa), with Kratos being more affected by her death than even Zeus, who seemed to care very little (if at all) about her death. It is likely that he felt a certain level of kinship with Hephaestus, as they share a mutual hatred of Zeus as well as intense pain over their lost daughters, although he is eventually forced to kill the Smith God when he tries to prevent him from reaching his daughter, Pandora. In spite of this, Kratos respected Hephaestus' desire to protect Pandora as he told her that her father died doing what any father should do: protecting the life of his child and even tried to stop Pandora from killing herself even requiring her convincing to allow her to sacrifice herself.

Wiz: Despite his war on Olympus, Kratos (at least initially) only truly desired the death of Zeus, and possibly Poseidon and Hades as well. For example, Kratos was legitimately interested, though understandably suspicious, when Helios offered to help Kratos as a way of repaying his debt, implying that Kratos would have spared him if not for his treachery. He also tries to ignore Hermes at first, viewing him as more of a pest than a serious threat, and only attacks him after incessant provocation. Kratos even attempted to ignore Hera, even tossing her aside to press on but later decided to kill her after she annoyed him by insulting Pandora who he came to see as a daughter-figure.

Boomstick: After destroying Olympus, remarrying, and siring another child, Atreus, in Norway, Kratos becomes a more stoic character, only bursting out in anger when antagonized or threatened. Although he is sometimes prone to outbursts when disciplining his son, he almost always manages to regain control of himself before doing any damage. He also accepts full responsibility for his actions in Greece, often exhibiting extreme sadness and regret, and at times even falling into a state of depression, when confronted about his past behavior, he now also dreads being called the "Ghost of Sparta", angrily telling Mimir not to call him that. He is also more considerate to others' feelings as well, as he sternly reproaches Atreus when the latter asking Sindri the reason of Brok's blue skin while he himself doesn't. As a result of his drastic maturity, Kratos is shameful of his past and prefers to keep it a secret from his son. However, he eventually realizes being open to Atreus with his mistakes would allow Atreus to learn from Kratos' mistakes and not go down the dark path he himself once trodden.

Wiz: Following his union with Faye, Kratos went to great lengths to cover up his past as a God, especially from Atreus. Believing that his son’s godhood was a curse, Kratos kept the truth hidden with hopes that Atreus would live a normal life, though his secrecy became the source of his son’s recurring illness.

Boomstick: Unfortunately for Kratos, Atreus despite his compassionate nature appears to have inherited his father's impulsiveness and tendency towards rage. He is alarmed at Atreus' outbursts and is quick to reprimand him for it, fearing that he will become the same monster as Zeus was in Greece. He is shown to love Atreus just as he loved Calliope, Lysandra, and most likely Faye. Telling his son that they would complete the journey together. Kratos's relationship with Faye is not well-known but it is apparent that they had a very close and loving relationship, as Kratos openly acknowledges that Faye was better than a God and wondered if he could raise his son without her. He also respected Faye's wishes of not taking Atreus hunting, resulting in Kratos being gone most of the time hunting for the family.

Wiz: In quests of Spirits, Kratos got annoyed by them and viewed almost all of them as "fools" due to his half-sister, Athena. Despite of their annoyance, Kratos shown his respects to pirate captain spirit reminding Kratos of his leadership to his fellow Spartans.

Boomstick: however, his distrust for divine beings remains intact, opting to avoid interaction with the Norse Gods whenever possible, even when they (like Freya) try to befriend and help him. He is also shown to still harbor resentment towards the gods of Olympus, promptly telling the spirit of Athena to leave his head the moment she appears. He likewise reassures her that, while he is still a monster, he is no longer her monster. Despite this, Kratos is shown to have become more reasonable in dealing with the Norse Gods, as he was able to come to trust and care for Freya after she saved his son despite all of his previous distrust. Even after learning Freya had bewitched Mimir to prevent them from learning Baldur's weakness, Kratos cared enough to fight Baldur for her and later saved her life by killing Baldur when he attempted to choke her to death. He did not harm her when she swore vengeance on him, likely as he understands the pain she feels, having felt the same after killing his family, and believes that time will eventually cause her to forgive him. He also came to develop a strong friendship with Mimir, eventually taking his advice more and even comforting him at times.

Wiz: Kratos now only kills out of self-defense and does not see the point in killing a weakened enemy and he is shown to be much more polite towards those who ally with him and displays enough increased sensitivity to know how not to make an enemy out of others. He even tries to be the voice of reason when Atreus finds out he is a god and lets it go to his head. Though he finds Brok and Sindri annoying, Kratos is never rude or ill-natured around them and even trusts them to work on his gear. In addition, while he admitted that he doesn't like it when Sindri talks about his brother, he was nevertheless absolutely disapproving and reprimanding of Atreus when he coldly told Sindri to shut up about it, even going as far as to look almost apologetic to the Dwarf. He was also clearly not amused when Atreus asked Sindri on why Brok is blue-colored while he isn't. He was even more merciful enough to be willing to spare a weakened Modi and was greatly shocked and angered when Atreus killed him in retribution for the latter's insults towards Faye. Likewise, for Baldur, Kratos offered him multiple chances to step aside and only fought him when threatened. He ultimately offered Baldur a chance to escape when he was defeated and even tried reasoning with him, saying that vengeance is not a path to be walked by as people would not find peace, recounting his own experience with it.

Boomstick: Due to his slaying of the Gods of Olympus, Kratos now understands that vengeance will not bring him or others peace, even trying to talk Baldur out of killing Freya and then killing him when he attempts to do so to try and end the cycle of children killing their parents. When Freya threatens Kratos and swears vengeance against him, he does not retaliate in anger and simply replies that she does not know him, showing maturity and self-control. When Atreus accused Kratos of not caring for Faye, he was simply annoyed and told Atreus to stop talking.

Wiz: Although Kratos does not seem to enjoy troubling himself by helping dead spirits, mainly because they no longer have any "needs, only wants", he does help people when need be. When prompted by Mimir to rescue the Valkyries, Kratos complained, but was willing to submit when Atreus reminded him of Midgard's fate being dependent on them doing the job, showing that even though he preferred to stay out of others affairs, he still cared for his new home, likely due to how he had once destroyed the lands of Greece and therefore seemingly finding the idea of saving the Norse lands as being a chance to start saving a world instead of destroying one. He also noted that as the Valkyries are so strong, they are useful for his and Atreus's growth in skill. When they reached Jötunheim, Mimir wanted to stay behind because their business was between Atreus and Kratos, but Kratos objected at first because he didn't want any affliates of Odin finding Mimir.

Boomstick: At the beginning of his journey with Atreus, Kratos kept his forearms wrapped in bandages to hide the scars from his chained blades, symbolizing his desire to hide his past from his son. At the end of their journey, after coming clean to his son about his past, Kratos threw away his bandages, deciding he has nothing left to hide.

Wiz: Kratos has also developed a dry sense of humor such as when Mimir asked Atreus to carry him since Kratos was tackling deadly traps, Kratos replied he would not want Mimir to miss "this" (the excitement of dodging the traps) and smirked slightly when Mimir claimed Kratos was enjoying himself. At one point, when Mimir asks Atreus to take a knife originating from his homeland, Kratos responded by saying "yes, boy.... take it. We may need to butter bread somewhere in our travels.", which caused Mimir to berate Kratos and say that his sarcastic humor makes no one like him.

Boomstick: After defeating the Sigrun thus freeing all the Valkyries, Kratos was put in a good mood, possibly because he had done something good but gleefully states that the Valkyrie Queen's helm would fetch a great price at Brok and Sindri's shops.

"I come from a distant land called Spartha, I made a deal with a god who cost me my life, kill many who deserved it and many who don't, kill my father"-Kratos.

Thanos[]

(https://youtu.be/UXjCCWD-bL0 Avengers: Infinity War - Thanos Ending Soundtrack)

History:

Wiz: Thanos was a genocidal warlord from Titan, whose own main objective was to bring stability to the universe, as he believed its massive population would inevitably use up the universe's entire supply of resources and condemn it. To complete this goal, Thanos set about tracking down the Infinity Stones, as the combined might could wipe out half the universe. Thanos forged alliances with Loki and Ronan the Accuser in order to track down some of the Stones: However, both alliances cost Thanos much of his resources, including the Mind Stone and the loyalty of his daughters, Gamora and Nebula. Fed up with all of his subordinates' continued failures, Thanos forced Eitri to create the Infinity Gauntlet for him, while Thanos had opted to seek out the location of the six Infinity Stones himself.Thanos engaged in a ferocious crusade in order to obtain the Infinity Stones. During his mission, both Thanos and his Black Order invaded multiple planets and slaughtered thousands to gain the stones, including Loki and the Asgardians. This quest even forced Thanos to sacrifice his beloved Gamora in order to take the Soul Stone. Thanos soon found himself challenged by an alliance comprising the universes greatest teams, which included the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. However, despite facing off against the powerfully combined opposition and the wrath of Thor, Thanos still ultimately triumphed as he completed the Infinity Gauntlet, using it to finally complete his goal and had then caused the Snap, resulting in half of all life in the universe being wiped out at the snap from his fingers.

Boomstick: Following his Snap, Thanos had then ensured this could never be reversed by destroying all of the Infinity Stones, resulting in the Avengers tracking him down on Garden before then being decapitated by Thor. However, in the alternative 2014, Thanos was alerted to the events of the Infinity War by a time-traveled Nebula, resulting in him traveling to 2023 and laying siege on the Avengers, as he had just decided to instead wipe out the entire universe and replace it out of revenge for their efforts to stop him. However, Thanos had been just too late to stop the Snap from being reversed as thousands of heroes returned to stop him. Despite all of Thanos' best efforts, he was unable to claim victory as Tony Stark used his armor to utilize the Infinity Stones, and had decimated the Chitauri and Outriders, as well as Thanos himself, finally ending his reign once and for all.

Abilities:

wiz:being a titan, Thanos is an extremely powerful being, one of the most powerful characters in the MCU and the most powerful enemy of the avengers.

Boomstick: Thanos has shown immense levels of superhuman strength, being able to crush the Tesseract to reveal the Space Stone, destroy Doctor Strange's magic shields with a kick and break Loki's neck with one hand. During the Battle of Wakanda, Thanos struck Black Panther hard enough to cause his Panther Habit's nanites to overload energy and expel a kinetic pulse. Thanos was able to dominate Iron Man 's Mark L armor, tearing apart pieces of the armor with his own hands, and overwhelmed Captain America with one hand. Upon awakening from Mantis' forced dream, Thanos was able to push Mantis and Drax away and recover the Glove. Spider-Man Infinity While restricted by the hundreds of Eldritch Whips from Doctor Strange's replies, Thanos was able to activate the Infinity Gauntlet to free himself. Notably, Thanos was able to tear out the Mind Stone from Vision's body, tearing the vibranium's casing easily, and finally mastered the Hulk during his acquisition of the Tesseract. While fighting Thor, Iron Man and Captain America, Thanos was able to kick Thor hard enough to break a concrete stone and throw Rogers. He was also able to lift Iron Man with his hands and make him receive the Mjølnir blow thrown by Thor, as well as throw Thor against a group of stones, hit him repeatedly and prevent Stormbreaker from returning to Thor and aiming the weapon at Thor, almost impales Later, he freed himself from the attempts of Captain America and Thor to prevent him from taking the Nano Gauntlet. As a testament to his power, Thanos, by using his double-edged sword, was able to break the almost indestructible shield of Captain America with mere brute force. Thanos' strength also allowed him to fight briefly with Captain Marvel, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and momentarily brings out the best in it in a fight, launching the Kree-Human hybrid across the battlefield. However, when he attacked her once more, her attacks didn't have much effect on her, not even a header straight to her face, and after realizing she was overwhelmed, Thanos was forced to use the Power Stone to defeat her.

Wiz: Thanos had almost incalculable levels of resistance and durability, which made him able to easily handle the Infinite Stones without being damaged and exercising the power of the Infinite Glove without tension. Therefore, despite the combined efforts of Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thanos remained completely unharmed by the force of his attacks, even mocking Iron Man for his effort to draw a small cut on his cheek. . Thanos endured three powerful blows from Captain America without visible injuries. Thanos resisted Hulk's surprise attacks, having a huge pillar dropped on him and colliding with a Necrocraft at full speed. He was also able to resist Scarlet Witch's energy attacks, as well as a powerful Stormbreaker lightning bolt. Thanos also resisted the blows of a Marvel Captain with all power in two separate clashes. Notably, he survived a blow to Stormbreaker's chest even after Thore pushed the ax to exacerbate the wound, although he did briefly enter a catatonic state. Thanos himself mocked Thor for not aiming at his head, indicating that such a blow is what it would take to kill him. However, it was only after Thanos had been severely weakened by the destruction of the Infinite Stones that Thor was finally able to decapitate him with his ax. Thanos was so resilient that he could hold the Power Stone in his own hand for a brief moment, an impressive feat considering that the stone destroys almost anything organic that comes into contact with it.

Boomstick: He is also a combat expert, defeating Ironman, Thor and Captain America in hand-to-hand combat.

weapons:

Boomstick: Boomstick: Thanos has a sword. Thanos used this sword as his main weapon when he still didn't have the Infinite Glove. It was extremely durable, being able to cut the vibranium as the Shield of Captain America, but it was finally cut in half by Scarlet Witch

Personality:

Boomstick: Thanos was usually seen by everyone else as the ultimate personification of sadism, cruelty, megalomania, infinite destruction, death, power, and madness, with his search for the Infinity Stones seen by others as his plot to gain dominion over all the civilizations in the universe. In reality, Thanos was a more complex and tortured soul given his traumatic past and obsession with completing what he perceived as his destiny led him to commit horrible actions all in the name of saving the universe even at a great personal sacrifice to himself. He desired to use the Tesseract to look beyond the known worlds to find greater ones that it would unveil. He was also relentless, as seen by his gathering of children from across the galaxy to take as his own so he can raise them as assassins and tirelessly searches for the Infinity Stones. In addition to this, Thanos had extraordinary willpower, as evidenced by his absolute refusal to succumb to Mantis' sleep-inducing touch despite its ability to usually make her victims docile almost instantly through but a simple touch, with her thus remarking that the Titan was "very strong" in his mental fortitude. He was extremely intimidating and often unforgiving of failures. The Other once warned Loki that he would know a new kind of pain if he did not give them the Tesseract; this was proven true when he ruthlessly murdered Loki for his failure in retrieving the Tesseract for him and when he tried to kill Thanos. Even though Ebony Maw had never failed Thanos, he still feared his master and father enough that he did not dare go to Titan without having fully taken the Time Stone from Doctor Strange. Thanos threatened Ronan the Accuser that he would bathe the starways in his blood if he failed to deliver the Orb, visibly terrifying Ronan. He even forbade Gamora from rescuing Nebula when the latter fell into a trap whilst on a mission in the Cloud Tombs of Praxius. He had little to no regard for his subordinates, as seen by him showing absolutely no empathy when Ronan killed The Other. He is also shown to be an extremely skilled leader, due to being able to inspire fierce loyalty from the Black Order, as well as command the Chitauri and the Outriders, both being highly savage and powerful creatures, unchallenged.

Wiz: He was extremely confident to the point of borderline arrogance and appears to be almost impossible to intimidate. He was shown to be smiling when The Other told him challenging the Avengers would be like courting Death. He was even unfazed at the idea of Ronan, who was powered by the Power Stone, coming after him despite knowing full well that Ronan was already very powerful even without the Stone and the fact that he was backed up by Nebula who had betrayed him, displaying only anger. He also smiled confidently after deciding to hunt for the Infinity Stones himself.

Boomstick: He was also manipulative and mistrustful, sending Ronan to retrieve the Orb for him and not telling him that it contained an Infinity Stone, while also sending Nebula and Gamora to monitor him. He is surprisingly patient, as he keeps a low profile, lurking in the shadows and making others do his work for him even after centuries of failure. He did not make a move for the Infinity Stones directly nor did he openly show he possessed an Infinity Stone until he was finally ready to collect the stones himself in rapid succession, presumably because he knew possessing one or more of the Infinity Stones would draw unwanted attention, prompting others to attack him and impede his preparations before he was finally ready.

Wiz: Despite Thanos' ruthlessness during the early days of his conquest, he was not without compassion, especially when it came to children. When he met the young Gamora during his invasion of her planet, he gave her the task of balancing a blade he gave her to distract her from witnessing her people's decimation. When her attention turned to her people's screaming, he gently reminded her to remain focused on her task. He especially liked Gamora, deeming her his "favorite daughter"; he even hoped that she would be the one to inherit his throne. However, he sometimes shows it in an extreme manner such as turning Nebula into a cyborg to make her stronger. When he learned from Doctor Strange that Ebony Maw is dead, he started the quest for the Infinity Stones "extracts a heavy toll" and when Nebula gloated he should have killed her, Thanos claimed it would have been a "waste of good parts", even though she almost succeeded in assassinating him. Despite caring for his children, he is brutally strict with them as he does not hesitate to torture them if they fail to meet his expectations, as Maw stated there would be "judgement" if he failed Thanos.

Boomstick: He also seems to display a soft spot for children, with an example being when he met Gamora. Even though Gamora claimed Thanos killed her parents in front of her, in reality, he gently kept her from being a part of the random genocide of her people by having her focus on balancing a dagger he gave her. During the trip to Vormir to acquire the Soul Stone, despite Gamora being the enemy, Thanos took the lead when they ventured to the Soul Stone's shrine and when they encountered the Red Skull, not knowing if he was friend or foe, he made a gesture telling her to stay back, shielding her with his own body. Thanos was also heartbroken when he realized he had to kill Gamora to gain the power of the Soul Stone, to the point where he was shedding tears. Due to his belief that it was for the greater good, he still went through with it, though Mantis noted that he was tormented by guilt and grief during the battle on Titan. In the final moments of his life, following Nebula defending his honor, Thanos genuinely thanked her and regretfully reflected that he'd been too harsh on her. When his past self saw this recording, he appeared to take those words to heart and decided to treat Nebula better such as breaking the chain Ebony Maw had wrapped around Nebula's neck and cradled her chin in his hands affectionately, believing her loyalty and giving her the chance to prove it by bringing him to the future, even though Nebula could have been freed of him in the future had she decided to betray him. He also trusted her to retrieve the stones herself and seemed very concerned when she wasn't answering her comm. His love for his children was reciprocated with Gamora breaking into tears once she'd thought she'd killed him and Nebula silently crying for Thanos once Thor had killed him, even closing his eyes so he could rest in peace.

Wiz: Thanos loved his race unconditionally and desperately sought to save them, going as far as to propose wiping out half of his kind so the other half may survive. His plan for saving his homeworld was rejected, leading to the fall of his race. This incident has burdened Thanos with immense regrets and remorse as he confessed to Gamora that he had ignored the inevitable extinction of his people once when he could have saved them by being more forceful and resolved in carrying out the genocide against his people's wishes. As a result, Thanos became more determined in exterminating half of the population of every planet so as to save these civilizations from the same overpopulation tragedy on Titan. This is why Thanos truly believes his cause for killing off half of everyone on all planets to be a righteous cause, seeing himself a righteous soul who is doing what is necessary to save all the civilizations of the universe. As such, he stated that the Zehoberei did not suffer from environmental hazards, global hunger, or any other form of violence anymore, due to him killing off half of their population. Regardless of his campaign to murder trillions, Thanos’ viewpoint of killing them in an admittedly painless and quick manner of disintegration was, according to him, mercy compared to all of life suffering the same fate of starvation that his own people endured. Not only that, but he did make an effort to keep the casualty count to an absolute minimum during his quest for the Infinity Stones and let the Snap handle killing half of all sentient life.

Boomstick: Thanos was somewhat delusional, believing the universe would be grateful for having people they care about killed, even if they would have more for themselves; such as food. Alternatively, it's possible he is mildly egotistical, as he has stated that they (the surviving half of the universe, most of whom lost loved ones) 'should' feel grateful, and when his 2014 self realized what happened to his 2018 self, he decided to remake the entire universe in his image, a universe that would be 'grateful', and both his 2014 and 2023 selves said 'i am inevitable' as if he were some act of fate.

Wiz: Thanos' quest for the Infinity Stones came not from a desire for power but for a means to facilitate his goal of balancing the universe, as when he succeeded in his goal he was quick to destroy the stones not wanting to be tempted by their power.

Boomstick: Though he sought the Infinity Stones, the most powerful artifacts in the universe, Thanos did not do this for selfish reasons and reserved special respect for those who displayed signs of great selflessness such as Iron Man confronting him or Star-Lord being willing to kill Gamora. By contrast, he disliked those who sought power for selfish gain, finding Loki's motivations to be pathetic and being openly disgusted by him as he choked Loki to death or holding Ronan's personal vendetta against the Xandarians in contempt. He also appeared somewhat dismissive of Ebony Maw's sycophant traits.

Wiz: Thanos had shown a dark sense of sarcastic humor and was able to remain calm and unfazed in situations that would frighten and shock most others, as he remained fully composed even after thwarting Loki's assassination and mocked him for choosing the word "undying". He ignored Loki's acts of defiance before dying, with Loki declaring he would never be a god as he was suffocated. He even remained unfazed after being badly injured by Thor and even mocked him for not striking him in the head.

Boomstick: Thanos had also shown himself to be surprisingly honorable. He did not go back on the end of the deal he made with others and would honor them even when angered, as he was still willing to destroy Xandar for Ronan should he retrieve the Orb even though he was angry at Ronan for coming to him empty-handed and alienating Gamora. He extends this even to his enemies, as he did not kill Iron Man after acquiring the Time Stone as he promised to Doctor Strange and instead simply left Titan. He also is capable of praising others should they prove worthy, as he said that he wished people would remember the heroism and will that Iron Man fought with if he was removed from existence once he used the Infinity Gauntlet and praised Doctor Strange for his mastery in the Mystic Arts to be able to single-handedly go up against him with the Infinity Gauntlet. He was also complimentary of Star-Lord as he was going to kill Gamora, saying that he "liked him" for doing what would have been necessary in order to stop Thanos on his quest to obtain the Infinity Stones. He also showed some empathy towards Scarlet Witch's killing Vision despite the fact that she destroyed the Mind Stone, which was necessary for his goal, as he too had killed Gamora for the Soul Stone. Despite his manipulative nature, Thanos is also known as a man who never lies, a fact firmly confirmed by his own daughter Nebula.

Wiz: Interestingly, despite being usually considered as an incredibly cruel and cunning being, Thanos did not take his genocidal motives as a pretext to eliminate potential foes who could be able to exact revenge on him. Indeed, he kept his intent to make his genocide as random and dispassionate as he intended, resulting in the survival of several members of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy who had done everything they could to stop him. It was only after another version of himself was confronted by these survivors did Thanos realize that there would always be people who would seek to undo his actions, prompting him to extend his plans from balancing the universe to simply erasing it all and creating a new one.

Boomstick: Between 2014 and 2018, Thanos became more mellow. An example of this was when his 2014 self referred to the Avengers as "unruly wretches" whereas in 2018, he expressed his respect for Iron Man and did not refer to his enemies with derogatory terms, even referring to Scarlet Witch as "my child" when empathizing with her about losing a loved one. When he completed his task and retired, Thanos became even more mellow. When Nebula defended him by saying he is not known for lying, Thanos thanked her and expressed regret at treating her too harshly.

Wiz: When Thanos first saw what would become of his future self, he simply saw it as destiny and was mostly unfazed by the recording of his death. It was only after finding out about the Avengers' attempt to reverse the Snap that Thanos came to realize that as long as there are people who remember what life was like before the Snap, they could not accept what the future could be. Thanos came to the conclusion that he would have to shred the universe down to the last atom and make the universe anew so that the people of the new universe would be grateful for the lives they were given while completely unaware of the previous universe that had existed. Thanos himself claimed that when it came to the planets he conquered and slaughtered, it was never "personal", but due to the Avengers and Earth's heroes constantly frustrating his plans, he viewed the Avengers as "unruly wretches" for daring to challenge him and by extension he came to see Earth as "stubborn and annoying" and that he would enjoy tearing Earth apart. Having not gone through the same experience of losing his children and learning empathy for his foes, this Thanos was far more arrogant and callous, dismissing Scarlet Witch's condemnation of him taking everything from him as he did not know her and willing to sacrifice his forces just to shake her off and showed no regard for Cull Obsidian's death, and boasting that he would inevitably accomplish his goal. He also retained his propensity for delegation, having Nebula bring the Infinity Gauntlet to him contrasting his 2018 self retrieving the Stones himself. It was this lack of development that led to his downfall and allowed Iron Man to outsmart and defeat him, as Thanos had consistently dismissed all of Earth's defenders as beneath him. Although visibly distraught, upon seeing the sunrise, the Titan was at least able to find some solace that he could enjoy it without being hindered and died somberly, accepting his defeat and fate with dignity.

"I'm thankful because now I know what I must do. I will shred this universe, down to its last atom. And then, with the Stones you have collected for me, create a new one. Teeming with life, that knows not what it has lost, but what it has been given. A grateful universe."-Thanos.

Pre-Death Battle[]

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, lets end this debate once for all!

Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!

Death Battle[]

Midgard:

When they get home, Atreus says he will sleep during the winter. Kratos tells him to rest a little, and Atreus adds that he is far ahead of them, in which Atreus has a vision of Thor appearing in his house when Fimbulwinter finishes. When they wake up, Atreus felt that this was real, at first Kratos is not upset about this, but when Atreus reminds him again, he assures his son that they will worry about it tomorrow.

it starts to rain and lightning strikes, Kratos gets up, Atreus takes his bow and Kratos the leviathan ax and his swords of chaos, when they leave the cabin, they look at a hooded man, just as tall as Kratos, he has a red-haired beard and blue eyes .

"who you are?!" Kratos asks the stranger, the stranger reveals a weapon that hung from his sintura, if it was the Mjölnir, Kratos looks incredulous, "brother, it's Thor", upon learning that it is Thor ... he tells Atreus that He leaves and runs straight towards the god of thunder, but he throws a lightning bolt at him with the Mjölnir and creates a prototype that absorbs Kratos.

Earth:

after collecting the 6 infinity stones, make a gauntlet in some way and after the complicated trips in time: the Avengers decide that Hulk will make the click, but before he could do it: Nebula makes Thanos' Ship and his army is transported to 2023 and destroys the base of the avengers.

After waiting a while and sitting in a pile of rubble, Thanos was soon seen by Thor, Captain America and Iron Man, who emerged from the destruction of their complex. While playing with a rock, Thanos was confronted by the three Avengers and told them that they could not live with his failure and, therefore, brought them back to him. Thanos further noted that he had always wanted to eliminate half of all life in the universe so that the other half could flourish without the danger of overpopulation.

Because of his tireless efforts to stop him, Thanos had realized that his plan was wrong all the time, as the survivors could never stop remembering the victims, which in turn would lead to resistance. Now knowing what he had to do to avoid this, Thanos announced that by taking the Infinite Stones, he would use them to destroy the entire universe only to later rebuild it with a new life so that the new population would never know about the previous universe. and be grateful for the life they were given.

Upon hearing his plans, Captain America told Thanos that his universe would be born of blood, but he replied that the new population of the universe would never know because none of the Avengers would be alive to tell them. Thor, Iron Man and Captain America attacked Thanos, but it soon became clear that it was too much even for his combined power, first defeats Ironman, then manages to dominate Thor and tries to stab him with the Stormbreaker but is hit in the back by the Mjölnir, it turns out that the Cap was always worthy, The Cap with the Mjolnir gives him a good fight, but Thanos stabs him in the leg, manages to disarm him and starts hitting his shield using his sword with all his strength until he manages to break it and defeat to Cap.

"I don't have time for games" decides not to kill him, since he gave him a good fight and decides to go for the stones, the minutes pass and the trinity is still hurt by the beating they received, when everything seemed lost: a portal is created in the sky and a man falls: quite tall, his skin is pale as snow, has a brown beard, an armor, two swords, chains on the wrists and an ax on the back. It's Kratos, the god of war.

Thor sees Kratos and says: "Please stop him, stop the mad tita " Kratos, seeing him, grabs him by the neck and knocks him against the wall, "what did you do with my son!?" the god of war asks angrily, "I don't know who you are ... I don't know what you're talking about ... just stop it," replies the god of thunder spitting blood in the process, "to whom?" Kratos asks, "Thanos ... you have to stop him, if he gets the gauntlet he will destroy the entire universe and his people", hearing this, Kratos thinks of Atreus and knows what he has to do, "brother, I think he tells the truth , this man is nothing like the Thor we saw and the one I met, if you don't stop Thanos you won't be able to see Atreus again".

Kratos reflects a bit and decides what he has to do, "well I'm going to stop him, I have experience killing Titans," Kratos gets up from the ground and runs to the base.Thanos manages to get the gauntlet and When Nebula is about to give it: come to Kratos slowly walk towards them."who you are?" Nebula asks, "It doesn't matter who I am, just give me that gauntlet."

Thanos smiles a little, and tells Kratos: "I don't think so, you are no match for me either, Nebula, Gamora, bring me your head," Thanos orders his daughters and amnas to attack Kratos, Gamora sca his sword and Nebula does the same, but Kratos defeats them both unarmed, manages to break the gamora weapon and knock her out at once, grabs Nebula's Arm and knocks her against the ground and incapacitates her, "very easy brother." Mimir responds smiling.

Thanos puts the gauntlet aside and lifts his sword from the ground, "well, if you want to execute something or someone, do it with your own hands," Thanos walks slowly towards Kratos, "every warrior ends his enemies with his own hands, if you don't do it, then you are a coward ", Thanos looks at him stoically and Kratos does the same," as you wish warrior".

 FIGHT:

(https://youtu.be/GzXlaOFpp0U Audiomachine - Warland's Fury)

Kratos takes out the Leviathan Ax and throws it atThanos, this deflects the attack with his sword and tries to hit Kratos but it releases the guardian shield and absorbs the impact of Thanos's sword and force, The crazy Titan is surprised, although not too much, but is open mouth when Kratos attracts the Ax to his hand and hit his armor with the ice-covered blade.

Thanos dodges the second blow and grabs Kratos by the shoulder and tries to give him a head but Kratos manages to hit him before with another head and hits his face with the guardian shield, Thanos recovers a little, "brother, attack him", says Mimir, Kratos tries attack Thanos on his knees, but he manages to turn and block the ax's blow with his sword and sends Kratos flying at one blow, Kratos gets up and blocks another attack from Thanos's sword, Kratos attracts the Ax again, and hits the Thanos's sword center and freezes him, managing to disarm him, but Thanos grabs him by the neck and hits him to the ground, and hits him several times in the face, but Kratos manages to block the latter and responds with another punch, Kratos gives several punches, Thanos does the same, the mad titan kicks the god of war in the chest and takes his sword again, and Kratos does the same with his ax, uses one of the runes and invokes a storm of ice that hits Thanos, uses a light that blinds him and hits the weak points of his armor leaving him something vulnerable, he tries to cut off his head, but Thanos dodges it and sends it flying with a blow of his sword, but Kratos stops him in time with his guardian shield.

Thanos runs to the Gauntlet to use it, and when he puts it on and is about to snap his fingers: Kratos throws the leviathan ax freezing his hand and thus preventing him from snapping, Kratos runs towards Thanos and hits his face, causing him to lose some Blood, Thanos breaks the ice of his hand and throws a laser with the power stone.

Kratos blocks the attack with the guardian shield and redirects it to Thanos, but dodges it with the space gem, "brother, disappeared?" Mimir asks the ghost of Sparta, "I don't think so, he still has powers under his sleeve, I feel it", Kratos turns around and Thanos appears from behind and punches him with a punch, Kratos gets upset and Thanos tries to use the stone of time with him, but it does not work, "Hmm", Thanos is a bit surprised, Kratos seizes the moment to get up and throw the ax, Thanos manages to dodge it and launches another attack using the gem of reality, but Kratos dodges it , but would have been turned into a rabbit or something worse.

Thanos throws another ray of power stone at Kratos but he blocks it again with The Guardian Shield, Kratos runs to Thanos and throws the Ax Leviathan, Thanos deflects it, but Kratos pulls the swords of chaos from his back and makes several cuts to Thanos, The mad titan takes the chains and attracts Kratos, but he kicks him in the chest and sends him flying, Kratos jumps up to Thanos's chest and begins to hit him and tries to melt the Gauntlet.

Thanos throws him away and is transported with the gem of space, Kratos kneels and heals all his wounds with his healing factor, "brother get up," Mimir says, "well, you have to kill him as he should."

Kratos lifts the leviathan ax and runs towards Thanos and dwells it sitting on the ground and the mad titan uses the gem of reality, "my world was destroyed, it used to be a beautiful place, although we don't know each other, surely you were happy in some moment of your existence, seeing your powers, you are not a normal being, perhaps you are a titan ... a God ", Kratos is surprised by his words and takes from his back the swords of chaos," brother, now he ends with " , Mimir tells him, Kratos is running towards the titan and tries to cut off his head, but Thanos again uses the gem of reality creating another dimension.

Kratos rejuvenates and sees his calypso daughter, Kratos is going to hug her, "father, did you come back?", Callisto asks, "Of course daughter I did it", Kratos goes to his wife and hugs her tightly, The God of war sits on peace, and he believes that everything that happened was false, he never killed his family, he didn't fight the fury, he never killed Ares, he never became the god of war, he was never killed by Zeus, he was never revived by Gaia , he never destroyed Olympus, he never met Faye, he was never with his son Atre ... when he remembers his son Kratos he manages to reconsider and the illusion disappears, but it's too late since a big asteroid on Kratos.

a big asteroid falls on Kratos and incapacitates him and he can't get up, "brother, don't die, get up", Thanos sees Kratos on the hiding places, but he doesn't kill him, since he's quite tired from the fight and wants to reflect a moment, but Kratos remains unconscious.

Kratos is still under the asteroid, but manages to wake up after hearing a voice in his head:Thanos: "You can't escape your past, Spartan, you think you are everything you know you are not, in everything you failed, to be a good warrior, a role model, a husband, a ... father? no ... you couldn't live with that failure, and look where that has taken you, back to me."

Kratos wakes up and uses Spartan anger, regenerates all his wounds and manages to destroy all the rocks that are above him, when he leaves the great rock, sees Thanos still sitting, The Mad Titan is surprised.

(https://youtu.be/RG8YTAoRWEQ God Of War - Deliverance)

Kratos picks up the leviathan ax, and puts himself in combat position, throws the ax at Thanos, he blocks it and throws several stones at it, Kratos blocks them with the guardian shield, and uses the swords of chaos. attacking Thanos in dissent and cutting his chest, Kratos uses the leviathan ax again and tries to cross Thanos's already weak chest, but he manages to catch the ax and tries to hit Kratos using it, but the ghost of Sparta uses the guardian shield and He gives Thanos a head and sends him flying with a blow.

Kratos runs towards him and takes out the Chaos swords, Thanos tries to shoot him lightning, but Kratos threw the ax to freeze his arm, Kratos goes with all his strength and stabs his arms and legs, and gives him several cuts all over his body, "ahhh", Thanos screams in pain, tries to snap his fingers, but Kratos quickly takes the leviathan ax and cuts off his arm, leaving him totally incapacitated and seizes the moment and uses the Spartan fury, starts hitting his face with force, his fists are empowered with fire, he turns red, and full of anger and discharges all his power against the mad titan and begins to bang his face again and again, Thanos is completely immobile and Kratos gets up, "He dies "Shouts Sparta's ghost and cuts off his head with the ax.

KO!

Kratos is wounded, tired and without energy, even so he walks slowly using the ax as a cane, the trinity appears and they ask him who he is, Kratos tells him his name, a small part of his history and the reason for his visit, for the fact that Thanos's hand promises to return him to his home with the gems of infinity, and Mimir told him that he believes that Atreus is still alive and in Asgard.

Results[]

Boomstick: Oh, sh*t, that was epic.

wiz: this battle was closed in several aspects, both were incredibly strong, durable, experienced and skilled.

boomstick: yes, but the small advantages of Kratos made a difference.

wiz: Thanos was an incredibly powerful being and the most feared villain of the MCU, but he was surpassed by Kratos in terms of ability, weapons, speed, agility and even strength.

boomstick: yes, Thanos defeated the Hulk in hand-to-hand combat, killed loki, defeated the guardians alongside Dr. strange, spiderman and Ironman, and defeated the trinity, etc. without much effort, but it does not compare to what Kratos has done.

wiz: almost all the gems were useless in Kratos, that is:

Boomstick: the guardian shield could block any physical or magical attack, such as the Golden Fleece, it could block blows from the blade of Olympus, a sword capable of killing titans just by touching them and the same sword that Zeus used to banish them to the Tartaro, the Thanos's blows and the power stone were useless.

wiz: Kratos endured that Hades, the god of the underworld, tried to steal his soul and Kratos stole his with his claws, the soul stone was useless against him.

boomstick: I defeat the sisters of destiny, those who controlled and manipulated time, so time stone could not do anything against it.

wiz: he has survived the illusions and mind control of Zeus and has Spartan anger, which makes him invulnerable to any attack, whether physical or magical, Mind Stone also had no effect on him.

boomstick: the only ones that could harm him were that of space and reality.

wiz: but Kratos could dodge all the attacks and keep up, therefore they were not very useful and slow.

boomstick: yes, Thanos was able to defeat the Hulk, but he was stopped shortly by Captain America and is almost killed with Thor and the Stormbreaker even with the 6 gems, he just had to aim at the f*cking head!

wiz: while Kratos: killed all the Olympus alone, killed Kronos, the most powerful titan and the creator of time, stopped Atlas's fingers, the titan that lifts the world for the rest of eternity, survived being stabbed by the Olympus blade, survived the wrath of Zeus and many other things.

boomstick: wow, it's very powerful.

wiz: even if Thanos defeated Kratos, it would be useless, he would just come back from the underworld or Hel as he has already done several times and as Corey Barlog said: he can't die.

boomstick: if this battle was epic, it was incredible and quite unpredictable, but Kratos won.

wiz: Thanos without the gems of infinity would be easily defeated by Kratos, yes, they are the most powerful weapons in the Marvel universe, but anyone with enough power can use them.

boomstick: people usually rely on the power of Kratos rather than gameplays, the God Of War gameplay, but not the lore, in God Of War 4 Baldur knocking out Jörmundgander, the snake of the world with 3 strokes, and Thor and Jörmundgander shook the 9 kingdoms of the Yggdrassil in their fight, which are interconnected dimensions and / or universes, Kratos was stronger than Baldur and without Freya's spell he defeated him without much trouble.

wiz: Thanos was able to defeat Hulk and Thor without the Stormbreaker, but without any additional power he could move a bridge of almost 2 thousand tons or a temple of 9 kingdoms as Kratos did.

boomstick: Thanos may have had more powers, be more calculating and more experienced, but Kratos's strength, power, anger, persistence and divine power were too much for him.

wiz: the winner is Kratos.
