What are Fuel Points?
Fuel Points are loyalty points which are loaded onto a shopper card and are a valid form of payment in participating Kroger and Shell gas stations. Earn Fuel Points on your card by shopping with Kroger, then redeem them at Kroger Family Fuel Centers and selected Shell locations.
Our Fuel Points program is made with you in mind. It’s free to sign up and there is no added cost for using your new Shopper’s Card.
For every $1 you spend on groceries online or in-store, you’ll earn 1 Fuel Point. Even when you’re buying a gift card for someone else through our website you will be able to earn twice as many Fuel Points every day. So, while you’re being generous and giving someone a gift card for their favorite store, you’ll also be treating yourself and saving money on your fuel bill.
You can even earn points when you pay for prescription items.
How do gift cards and fuel points work?
Each time you purchase a gift card for a family member, loved one or friend, you’ll be eligible to earn Fuel Points with Kroger. There is no limit to how many you can earn in one month, but Fuel Points expire the last day of the month after they are earned. Redemption limits also apply.
What can I use fuel points for?
If you redeem at least 100 Fuel Points each time you fuel your vehicle at Kroger Fuel Centers, you could save up to 55 cents per gallon of fuel for a year! At Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers you can redeem up to 1,000 Fuel Points for $1 off per gallon. At participating Shell locations, you can redeem 100 Fuel points for 10¢ off per gallon.
You can use your Fuel Points nation-wide at participating redemption locations, so you don’t have to worry about staying local in order to claim your discount. Fuel points can be redeemed at participating Kroger Fuel Centers and selected Shell locations. Use our location tool to find a redemption store near you.
