- Peter Inge, CFA Today is the one year anniversary of announcing DevClarity! When they say startup life is "peak life", they aren't kidding. From launching our first MVP, landing our initial paying customers, and winning Alabama Launchpad to tackling a massive problem space with no funding (or salary) and getting rejected dozens of times, the past 12 months have been the biggest roller coaster I've ever been on. And yet I have zero regrets about my decision because starting a company has been BY FAR the greatest learning experience I've ever had. So much so that I've lately started telling people that I believe EVERYONE should start a company at some point.In the coming days, I will share some reflections from the past year. But there are two main takeaways that stand out to me:1. Perseverance is the most important trait for an entrepreneur.More than intelligence, specific knowledge, boldness, or anything else. The entire game is to stay in the game. Everything can change with one conversation, one customer, one investor. But you have to stay in the game long enough for that to happen.Great things take time. Perseverance gives you the mental fortitude to allow yourself that time.2. People are the most important aspect of a business.When we announced the launch of DevClarity, I said that in the course of a career, or a lifetime, when you meet special people, you bet on them. I continue to feel validated that Will Blackburn is one of those people and am glad that we continue to bet on each other and ourselves.It's hard to know what the next 12 months will hold, but I am open to the journey and excited for what's to come!- Peter 84 9 Comments

Services and features split among various applicationsOur team is of the opinion this comes down to modernization of existing technologies as well as a focused effort on fitting the best parts of existing platforms into one solution. I'm a firm believer that the best cannabis application is one that takes into account the unique characteristics of the product and community it serves and is purpose built understanding the real challenges consumers and businesses in this industry face. The "(insert successful company) but with weed" approach will ultimately not make the cut when serious interest arises from the companies the industry emulates (Amazon, Doordash, Uber, Instagram, Shopify, etc.)2. Cannabis product data and incomplete product databasesCannabis data is tough. There's always more products being released, more brands being created, more science being learned, differences in packaging, labeling, testing, and naming all depending on the region. The industry is unstandardized and on top of this there could be variations of the same data depending on the service you choose to use. The outcome is incomplete information, mismatched data, low quality data, or no data about the product you seek at all.Consumers suffer, hopping from service to service to get the full picture about a product just to contextualize it to themselves. Currently it can take a lot of effort to be engaged in the cannabis space.I think in writing this I just want to get across the real opportunities that exists to empower users and solve real data and information problems in the cannabis industry. Maybe on a broader note I'm just fascinated whenever I continue to discover ways computer science and technology can be interwoven with a complex industry like cannabis. 12

The SEO firm is leaving its own email in the contact portion of online Listing services. These emails are blind to the sender. The SEO firm gets the lead and sells it to a Telegram illegal weed operation. That Telegram account then sends an email to send whom thinks Mission has reached out to them. The Telegram bad actor then asks for bitcoin or cash app for a large amount of weed that has a remarkable price! The buyer sends the money and then is ripped off. No touchdown as they say. Mission has fallen into this trap. Just watch the video at the end of the article - I just updated it. Amazing folks.
