Much like the title suggests, this book is all about Pokemon from game reviews, theories, fun pictures, opinions and more. I'm a diehard Pokemon fan, been playing Pokemon since before I could read!!! Hope you can join me on this fun book!
Scarlet & Violet is one of the easiest games to complete the Pokedex in a LONG time. That being said, there's still a handful of Pokemon in these games that proves challenging to obtain.
Here's 14 (Technically 27) of the hardest Pokemon to obtain in Scarlet & Violet.
1. Palafin
Dubbed as the hardest to Obtain Pokemon in Scarlet & Violet, you won't be getting your hands on a Palafin UNLESS you have friends. In order to obtain Palafin, you must have a Finizen, Palafin's Pre-evolution. Your next step is to invite your friends over to play in your save file using the Union Circle which requires the Nintendo Internet Pass. Step #3 is to level up your Finizen to Level 38 WHILE PLAYING WITH FRIENDS IN UNION CIRCLE and it'll evolve into Palafin. Yup, Pokemon added a new evolution method which requires you to play over the internet with friends. For me personally, I got lucky when it came to obtaining a Palafin through Terastal Raid Dens. The only other way to obtain Palafin is through 5-7 Star Raid Dens AFTER the main story of Scarlet & Violet and you're gonna NEED outside help for these raids as well. Pokemon CLEARLY didn't make obtaining Palafin easy for you.
2. Pawmot, Bramblegast & Rabsca
Pawmot, Bramblegast & Rellor all share the same evolution method: Walk 1000 steps in Let's Go Mode. This method of evolution is time consuming especially if you don't know cheats/hacks to beat the system. In my case, I used one of the hacks where you let a pokemon out in Let's Go mode, then stood on top of a Pokemon Center where the Pokemon in question will then run around aimlessly on its own searching for the player. An issue many players faced with this method, including myself, is that Pawmo, Bramblin & Rellor won't evolve the second they reach 1000 steps. This resulted in myself walking around with the Pokemon in question ALOT longer than necessary. Instead, as soon as you think the target Pokemon has reached the required amount of steps, level them up and their evolution should trigger.
Rare Pokemon like Paradox Pokemon and Antiques will challenge even seasoned trainers in Scarlet & Violet. Finding elusive Pokemon like Slakoth and Ditto/Zorua presents a true test of patience and luck. Unlocking and catching Legendary Pokemon like Kyurem and Rayquaza requires completing group tasks.
Slither Wing and Iron Moth are Paradox Pokémon with limited spawn areas. They are among the rarest Pokémon due to their location and difficulty in battling.
Unfortunately, the only way you're going to know if Minior is Shiny is if you have a Pokemon auto-battle, or you go up to every Minior and battle it. This can make Shiny Hunting Minior very tedious, and arguably marks it as most, difficult Shiny Pokemon to spot in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet.
Walking Wake is easily among the strongest Paradox Pokémon, taking on the dual Water/Dragon to impressive attacking effect. This creature has a well-rounded stat distribution, but its most fearsome qualities are its Special Attack (125) and Speed (109), letting it break down Scarlet and Violet's sturdiest Pokémon.
Gholdengo, Houndstone, and Scizor are among the best Shiny Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet, featuring striking visual designs and unique color variations.
Once you have collected 999 Gimmighoul Coins (the max you can carry), add a Gimmighoul to your party and level it up once with a Rare Candy, EXP Candy, or by battling it. It will then evolve into Gholdengo, but will consume the coins.
The Stony Cliff Titan Klawf is undoubtedly the easiest Titan Pokémon to battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, as indicated by Arven and the fact it can later be caught at a humble level 16.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has 400 Pokémon in Paldea, and 200 in the expanded area, Kitakami. Our guide lists out every Pokémon in the Paldea regional Pokédex and Kitakami Pokédex, along with their type.
Alfornada Gym: Level 44 Farigiraf, Level 44 Gardevoir, Level 44 Espathra, Level 45 Florges. Tulip and her Psychic types are among the toughest battles of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, not just in the Gym challenge. Tulip has a team that can resist Psychic's weaknesses: Bug, Dark, and Ghost.
What is the first weakest Pokemon? The first weakest Pokemon is Shedinja, with a base stat total of 236. Although it has a 90 attack, this feeble creature only has 1 HP, which means it instantly dies after getting one hit.
Larvesta has the distinction of being the Pokémon that starts to evolve at the highest level, as it doesn't turn into a Volcarona until level 59. Hydreigon evolves from its middle stage at level 64, but it's a lot easier to use a Zweilous in battle than a Larvesta.
The games' lack of level scaling creates a difficulty imbalance, with players potentially encountering NPCs that are much stronger or weaker than their own team. The freedom to explore Paldea can lead to over-leveling or being under-leveled for certain challenges, affecting the overall difficulty of the game.
