What is Loot Luck and How Do You Improve It?
Loot Luck is a passive buff applied to your character, and the higher the percentage, the better chance of higher quality gear dropping becomes. So naturally, you'll want your Loot Luck to be as high as humanly possible as early as possible.
Lucky Dice
Travelling through both individual zones and the Overworld, you'll likely have noticed some Golden Lucky Dice. By interacting with these dice, either through the interact input or by meleeing them; in individual zones, they will spin and release a small pool of loot and gold. In the Overworld, they will spin and send some gold directly into your stash.
To be clear, not every Lucky Dice will increase your Loot Luck. Most will, but occasionally you will encounter some that just release a loot drop.
Aaron G Shrine
You'll also likely have encountered a shrine or two dotted around the Overworld. By finding the correlating Shrine Pieces in hard-to-reach locations on the Overworld, or as prizes for completing Dungeons, you can rebuild the Shrines and immediately gain the passive buffs they bring. The Shrine for Loot Luck is the Shrine of Aaron G (RNG, get it?). This Shrine is located in the Ossu-Gol Necropolis, one of the final areas of the game. You'll know you're there when you reach the large red sand dunes.
Two of the Shrine Pieces are obtained from the Dungeons positioned just a few steps away on either side of the Shrine. Another is all the way to the far left of the area behind a spirit wall that you'll need to hit the crystal next to it to unlock. The final piece is obtained after completing a short Side Quest from an NPC along the back wall of the desert area, which results in a higher ledge with a Dungeon being reachable. Completing the Shrine with all of these Shrine Pieces immediately boosts your Loot Luck by 25%, a huge buff, particularly if you've been diligent in collecting the Lucky Dice throughout the game up to this point.
Chaos Chamber Runs
After completing the campaign and the epilogue, you will unlock the Chaos Chamber; Wonderland's infinitely playable end-game mode. By completing runs in this mode, you'll earn Chaos Ranks and improve your Loot Luck incrementally.
