Why is There no Clear Winner?
Some ships, like the Sturmbrecher, have a special purpose. Due to its high resistance to Cold Snap Seas, it is well suited for trips to Shushire, for example. However, this is put into perspective when you start upgrading your ships. Therefore, the Sturmbrecher quickly loses its importance and should not be upgraded.

The Fastest Ship: Astray
The Astray is the fastest ship in Lost Ark, especially when speed sailing. However, the Astray is also an endgame goal that you’ll be working toward for a while.
It is very important to know that the Astray can only unfold when you have the right team together. This makes both the Astray itself and its crew very expensive and laborious to complete.
The Astray is crafted at Blackfang’s Den. The material requirements are immensely high. Among other things, you must buy the Pirate Star: Astray, which alone costs 300,000 Pirate Coins.
The Best Ship: Estoque
The best ship, far beyond the initial phase, is the Estoque. The Estoque is the ship you were given to start with. It’s a bit slower than the Astray, but that’s really only noticeable when you’re sailing fast.
On the other hand, the Estoque has significantly higher resistances and lower repair costs compared to the Astray. This makes the Estoque significantly more economical and enjoyable for content at sea. As a result, even players in the endgame stay with the Estoque permanently.
Not building the Astray also allows you to invest the resources that the Astray would have consumed elsewhere.
