In a post on X, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Maharashtra, which lagged behind in attracting investment during the MVA tenure, has once again ranked first for last two consecutive years.
He said, “I congratulate the people of Maharashtra. It is heartening to note that Maharashtra has once again retained its leadership in attracting highest FDI.”
Pointing to the efforts taken by the Mahayuti government, Fadnavis said, “We don’t speak. We work. It takes courage to walk the talk. Just mindless blabbering is of no use,” he said.

In the past, the Opposition leaders have been attacking Mahayuti led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde for failing to attract investors.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray had in the last two years charged the BJP central leadership led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for favouring Gujarat over Maharashtra.
Thackeray had alleged how mega projects were relocated from Maharashtra to Gujarat because of Modi- Shah.
Similar charge was made by Congress chief Nana Patole who felt, “Maharashtra was getting raw deal in Modi regime”.
