Known as super angels and micro VCs, they are often early-in to the most buzzy early-stage companies. ET presents the top 10 angel investors in collaboration with AngelList. His access comes from two solid networks— IITs and Flipkart. Kumar, who has a portfolio of more than 30 startups, says he mostly focuses on founders and their vision.

Having invested in more than 20 startups, Krishnamurthy has emerged as one of the most prolific angel investors.

Having made close to 40 investments, the duo has now created Titan Capital, an early-stage investment firm seeded with their own funds that will act as their investment holding company.

INVESTMENT STRATEGY: Rau has been fintech-focused, but is now turning to the education sector. He says he has a preference for backing failed or second-time entrepreneurs.
