There's a limit of up to five product returns per eligible order purchase. Exclusions to the 60-day Microsoft Store return policy include the Surface Hub, HoloLens, and Windows DevKit.

If you purchased a product from Microsoft, you may be able to request a refund, exchange or a return. Digital goods like apps, games, add-on content, subscriptions, movies, TV shows, and books aren't returnable unless the offer for applicable law states that you're eligible for a refund.

I have read from the official Microsoft FAQ forums and they mentioned it may take up to 2-5 business days. Has anyone refunded their pre-orders/games before, would you mind sharing your experience on how long does it take for the money to roll back into your bank account.

Sign in to Microsoft 365 admin center with your Microsoft 365 admin account, and select Support > Help and support, enter your question and select Contact support. If you're an admin on the account you can also call (800) 865-9408 (toll-free, US only).

You can check the status of your return or exchange on your Microsoft account Order history page. Find the product. It will include the return or refund status. If you see we've issued the refund, but the money hasn't been credited back to your payment provider, wait a few days.

You will receive a refund of your most recent recurring billing charge if you cancel your subscription and request a refund within 30 days after being charged.

Where's My Refund? follows your tax return from receipt to completion. It will tell you when your return is in received status and if your refund is in approved or sent status.

It can take at least 3 to 5 business days. In some cases it may take longer depending on the bank.

Since you've already requested a refund, please check your mailbox and find the confirmation email regarding your request. Simply reply to that email that you want to cancel your request. They should be able to review it as well.

It'll go back to the payment method you used when you made the purchase.
