Hashrate
Real time and historical statistics on Monero hashrate. This chart shows an estimate of how many hashes per second XMR miners are performing.
What is hashrate? How is it measured?
Hashrate reflects the performance of mining hardware. It is measured in solutions per second. A solution in the Monero network is called a hash, or simply h. Mining performance is measured in h/s (hashes per second).
- 1 Kh/s = 1 000 h/s
- 1 Mh/s = 1 000 Kh/s = 1 000 000 h/s
- 1 Gh/s = 1 000 Mh/s = 1 000 000 Kh/s = 1 000 000 000 h/s
- 1 Th/s = 1 000 Gh/s = 1 000 000 Mh/s = 1 000 000 000 Kh/s = 1 000 000 000 000 h/s
What is a solution? My GPU hashrate.
Your GPU or mining rig is calculating thousands, millions of hashes (solutions) per second. For example, one Nvidia 1070 Ti graphics card has a hashrate of 0.769 MH/s, according to the 2CryptoCalc mining profitability calculator. It means that it is calculating 769 000 solutions per second. In other words, it is solving a hash function 0.769 million times per second.A solution is a result gained after one cycle of mining software operation. Miners solve a hash function set by a cryptocurrency algorithm multiple times in a second. This is what one solution of a hash function, or a hash, means. Mining itself is a guessing game. Miners are solving the hash function and searching for a potential block solution until they find the right one. Once it is found, the problem is changed, and miners all over the world start searching for another solution. What Is Mining?
What is network hashrate? How is it calculated?
Monero network hashrate reflects the overall performance of all miners in the xmr network. Currently, Monero network hashrate is 3.27 GH/s = 3270665377 h/s.Network hashrate is calculated using the current network difficulty, the average block find time set by the cryptocurrency network and/or the effective block find time of the latest blocks. What is the hashrate of Monero XMR? ›
The current Monero hashrate is 2.98 GH/s, representing the global Monero network hashrate with a mining difficulty of 357.48 G at block height 3,175,493. View the Monero hashrate chart for current and all time Monero historical hashrates.
What is the network difficulty of XMR? ›
The current XMR difficulty is 312.76 G at block 3,170,751, resulting in a Monero mining difficulty increase of 6.30% in the last 24 hours. The Monero difficulty chart plots the Monero difficulty target over time and the current Monero difficulty (XMR diff) target.
What is the best pool to mine Monero? ›
P2Pool: The best of both solo and pool mining
P2Pool is a Peer-To-Peer mining pool that gives miners full control over their Monero node and what it mines. More details in the announcement post. P2Pool is a sidechain to Monero, and P2Pool blocks are potentially Monero blocks.
How many hash is 1 XMR? ›
With a block reward of 0.6 xmr (actually a little more), you need 1 / 0.6 = 1.67 blocks to earn 1 xmr, so you need 1.67 parts in 21600 of the network hash rate, because found blocks are directly proportional to hash rate. That comes down to 2.49GH/s * 1.67 / 21600 = 193kH/s.
What is the most profitable coin in 2miners? ›
Here are the five most profitable coins:
- Ethereum. Payout to miners – 5,335 ETH or 728,151 dollars, pool fees – 65.69 ETH or 8,964 dollars.
- Zcoin. Payout to miners – 107,192 XZC or 698,963 dollars, pool fees – 1,105 XZC or 7,211 dollars.
- Bitcoin Gold. ...
- Ethereum Classic. ...
- Zencash.
What network does XMR use? ›
Monero Mining
The Monero network is based on a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism, like Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies, which incentivizes miners to add blocks to the blockchain.
What are the weaknesses of Monero? ›
There are various key advantages of Monero. For example, it allows more individuals to mine the cryptocurrency through CPUs rather than ASICs. A key disadvantage of this digital currency is its slow transaction processing speed.
Why Monero can't be traced? ›
Monero (XMR 4.52%) is a privacy coin that focuses on providing total anonymity for its users. Every user on Monero is anonymous by default, and every transaction is private, which also means that transactions can't be traced.
How long does it take to mine 1 XMR? ›
Now, another question you might be interested in is how long it takes to mine one Monero coin? A Monero block is mined every 2 minutes. You already know that the current reward for mining a transaction block is 0.6 XMR. Doing the simple math, 1 XMR is mined every 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
Monero mining can be done using both CPUs and GPUs, although CPUs are generally more efficient for mining this cryptocurrency. Monero's ASIC resistance ensures a level playing field for all miners, unlike Bitcoin, which is now dominated by specialized ASIC mining hardware.
What is the best algorithm for Monero mining? ›
Monero follows a much more energy-efficient Proof-of-Work (PoW) algorithm, RandomX. Unlike other mining algorithms that are fine-tuned for ASICs, RandomX is optimized for CPUs and GPUs. To be precise, Monero mining is more efficient in CPUs.
What is the hashrate of 2miners beam? ›
Currently, Beam network hashrate is 153.90 KS/s = 153 897 S/s. Network hashrate is calculated using the current network difficulty, the average block find time set by the cryptocurrency network and/or the effective block find time of the latest blocks. Network Difficulty and Hashrate Explained.
What is the hash rate of 2miners Bitcoin? ›
Bitcoin Cash network hashrate reflects the overall performance of all miners in the bch network. Currently, Bitcoin Cash network hashrate is 3.79 EH/s = 3 792 285 950 640 829 000 h/s.
What is the minimum payout for XMR pool? ›
The pool charges a 0.9% mining fee and it uses a the PPLNS payment system. Minimum payouts are 0.7 XMR.
