Mont-Fort

The highest peak in the 4 Valleys area, Mont Fort offers both ease of access and extraordinary beauty.

Are high mountains and breathtaking views a passion or a dream for you? If so, then Mont Fort, perched at an altitude of 3,300 metres, should be your next destination! A succession of cable cars and gondolas take you from La Tzoumaz, Verbier or Nendaz to the Mont Fort. And it’s an experience not to be missed under any circ*mstances! The air is totally pure and the 360-degree panorama absolutely mind-blowing. The Matterhorn, the Dent d’Hérens, the Grand Combin, Mont Blanc and a hundred other peaks can be gazed upon all around. From the summit, you can then hike or mountain bike, watch the sunrise, take part in a yoga session or enjoy a fondue. From autumn 2020, Europe’s highest zip line will link Mont Fort to the Col des Gentianes, guaranteed to be a highlight!

Getting there

The view’s incredible from up there – given that it’s Verbier’s highest peak – particularly at sunrise. It’s a unique experience!

As one of Verbier’s highest points, it’s the perfect spot for watching the sunrise and appreciating the 360° all-round view. From the summit I can see the course of the Patrouille des Glaciers ski race – I’m always staggered by the distance involved.
