The first episode of the Disney+ Original series “Moon Knight” is called “The Goldfish Problem” but the definition of the problem isn't revealed until episode two. Some people say that “The Goldfish Problem” is a reference to the main character Steven Grant's short memory, but Goldfish don't have short memories.

In his London flat, Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac) affectionately cares for a one-finned goldfish named Gus, who was even on his own promotional poster released by Marvel prior to the show's release.

Based on what the shop owner says, and the fact that the fish now has two fins, we know what happened to Gus. Gus died, and Marc Spector went to that same shop the day before to buy a new fish.

One of Grant's alters then went to a fish store and attempted to get a new fish with one fin, but the clerk told him that such a fish did not exist. The alter therefore settled for a fish with two fins.

Marvel Studios' Plans:

Despite Moon Knight's success on Disney+ and its widespread fan appreciation, Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed a Season 2. Rumors have circulated, but the studio has maintained silence on whether the show was conceived as a limited series or if more episodes are in the pipeline.

The focus continues with the most recently released television show, Moon Knight. In a recent show, the protagonist as played by Oscar Isaac struggles with dissociative identity disorder (DID), a difficult and sometimes controversial mental health diagnosis to depict in a respectful and plausible way in cinema.
