The Morning Star is one of the Hammer Weapons in Elden Ring, found in the Weeping Peninsula. Hammers are sturdy weapons that may lack the speed of other weapons, but deal impressive striking damage against armored foes and breaking the guard of shields, benefiting greatly from Strength. It is one of the few hammer weapons that can also inflict Blood Loss.
Where to Find the Morning Star
The Morning Star can be found in the Weeping Peninsula region below Limgrave, along the main road leading from the Bridge of Sacrifice down toward the Castle Morne Ramparts. You can find it in a chest at the back of the abandoned carriage on the road, where several soldiers of Godrick, a Troll, and attack dogs have suffered an attack by Misbegottens.

Morning Star Description
"Great hammer comprised of a globe attached to a handle. Though a bludgeon dealing strike damage, the appellative star is covered in spikes which cause blood loss. Ironic given its graceful name, this weapon often reeks of blood."
Default Weapon Skill
The Morning Star's Default Weapon Skill is Kick: Pushes an enemy back with a high kick. Effective against enemies who are guarding, and can break a foe's stance. Sometimes a simple tool is the most effective.
