Milk and Honey Records: A New Label for Songwriters
Music management company Milk and Honey has announced the launch of its own record label, Milk and Honey Records. The label will focus on pop and dance music and has secured a distribution deal with The Orchard. This move comes as a response to the growing independence of artists and their managers from major labels, who are now building their own successful cottage industries.
Lucas Keller, founder of Milk and Honey, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture, emphasizing the company's commitment to prioritizing songwriters. The label will offer songwriters a substantial number of gifted master points, with the potential for double-digit percentages of production royalties.
