Anyone else currently going through this? I’m on my 7th week of not having my claim processed for FLI, currently it says “Undetermined”. I tried emailing them but nothing, and can’t seem to get a hold of anyone through the phone. Any advice? Seriously so frustrating.

I finally got through after 45 mins on hold today. Last few days I wasn’t even getting put on hold just being hung up on. When I finally spoke to someone she was soooo rude. She said not to expect any update until at least 5-7 weeks. She said they are so backed up from covid leave claims. There is no separate “pile” for bonding claims so just need to wait my turn basically. No empathy. I am totally frustrated as we are a 2 household income and without the funds from my claim we are struggling! Not the maternity leave we had planned.

what is the number you called? Whenever I call there is an automated message that says they aren’t taking phone calls and to try back next business day- but it says this EVERYDAY so ridiculous and frustrating

I’m only a bit over 2 weeks since starting my leave and came on here to ask how long I can expect it to take… I got my debit card in the mail but the claim is still undetermined…

It took a very long time. My first day was November 9th and I didn’t get anything until mid-late december. They were so behind it’s unreal.

yes, for me all the money came through at once. Just keep checking the status online. It sucks but it’s pretty much just a waiting game

I’m going on 7 weeks due to missing one peice of information (I didn’t submit a work end date for a per diem job from 2019… wouldn’t have occurred to me that that’s relevant). So now I was told it’s ANOTHER 5-7 weeks. I’m freaking out.

Ugh that’s horrible. I called them earlier in the week to see what the time frame was - 45 minutes to speak to someone and all she told me was I’ve only waited 4 weeks and to expect to wait another 4 weeks because it’s taking 8 weeks to approve claims. Absolutely ridiculous honestly.
