Nobody Wants This: Season 2 Review | Netflix's Rom-Com Series (2025)

Netflix's 'Nobody Wants This' Returns to Top Charts, While 'A House of Dynamite' Explodes onto the Screen

'Nobody Wants This' is back with more love stories in Los Angeles, and it's taking over Netflix charts again!

The popular rom-com series, starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, has returned for its second season, and it's already making waves. With 8.6 million views across its first four days, the show is just slightly down from its first season's opening numbers. This is a testament to its enduring popularity and the strong following it has built.

The second season continues to follow Noah and Joanne, played by Brody and Bell, as they navigate the complexities of being in a relationship. Meanwhile, their siblings, portrayed by Timothy Simons and Justine Lupe, are figuring out their own platonic relationship. And let's not forget Lupe's Morgan, who also dates her therapist, played by Arian Moayed from 'Succession'.

But here's where it gets interesting. The launch of Season 2 has also driven viewership for Season 1, which has made it to number nine in the charts with 2 million views across the week. This is a great example of how a successful sequel can boost the popularity of its predecessor.

On the film side, Kathryn Bigelow's 'A House of Dynamite' is making a splash. With 22.1 million views in its first three days, the thriller is in line with other recent film launches like 'The Woman in Cabin 10'.

'A House of Dynamite' depicts the immediate response to the deployment of a single unattributed nuclear missile and the approximately 18 minutes the upper echelons of the U.S. government have to react. It stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Tracy Letts, Anthony Ramos, Greta Lee, and Jason Clarke.

So, what do you think? Do you agree with the charts? Or do you have a different interpretation of these shows? Let us know in the comments below!
