If you are travelling abroad it is advisable to register your travel plans with us as this will notify our transaction monitoring systems that you will be using your personal card abroad. This will significantly reduce the likelihood of your card transactions being blocked abroad.
All you need to do is log into the mobile app and:
Tap ‘Going abroad’ then ‘Add trip’ (iOS devices) or ‘Register card’ (Android devices) and follow the instructions on screen.
You will be able to create one Travel Plan at a time by choosing 'Add Country', for a maximum period of between 2 to 90 days, that includes up to seven countries. Each country will need to be registered individually e.g.
Destination 2 - France, entry 11/09/20XX, exit 16/09/20XX (etc)
Please check that your Travel Plan:
Does not have overlaps or gaps between destination dates
Is no longer than 90 days in duration.
The Travel Plan will apply to debit cards only attached to accounts managed via Mobile Banking and only in your name. Joint account holders should register separately.
You can usually find Cora waiting to help at the bottom right hand side of the screen, or in your mobile app by tapping on 'Help' followed by 'Message us'.

You don't need to register, you're automatically covered. If you would like to extend your cover to include pre existing medical conditions or are aged 70 and over, please call us. We may ask you to pay an additional premium or we may not cover your condition.

Setting your travel notice over the phone or in-person
To set a travel alert for your credit card over the phone, call the number on the back of your card to get in touch with your bank. The customer service line will either let you speak to a representative on the phone or work with an automated system.
