Is fighter torso better than obsidian osrs? ›

It gives one less strength bonus than the fighter torso, and has worse defensive stats, but it is purchasable, which makes it a decent alternative for players not wanting to do Barbarian Assault for the torso.

Despite being a pre-Hardmode armor set, this armor's offensive bonuses are comparable to those of Post Golem sets making it a viable choice all the way up to the late game despite its low defense.

Obsidian armor is an armor set that consists of the Obsidian Outlaw Hat, Obsidian Longcoat, and the Obsidian Pants. A full set of Obsidian armor provides the following benefits: +15 defense. +31% summon damage.

Obsidian mage helm and Obsidian ranger helm are best-in-slot helmets as they offer 9% damage reduction, even from Zuk. They also offer 10% increased accuracy on the TzekHaar monsters, but not for Zuk. Obsidian armour offers up to 55% damage reduction and is highly recommended for learning this boss.

The Obsidian set alone will provide 10% damage and accuracy when you're using melee obsidian weapons. In that regard, you should focus on getting the Obsidian Sword as this is the best of all of them. This build results in the best Strength training XP in the game.

The cape of skulls provides equal bonuses while having the advantage of weighing 1.361 kg less, with the expense of a higher cost and that it gives the player a PK skull when equipped.

The Bandos Chestplate has an identical Strength bonus to the Fighter Torso, but has a much higher Defence bonus. This makes the Bandos Chestplate a better option for PvM and PvP situations.

Both the bandos chestplate and fighter torso offer very strong Strength bonus for melee body armour, but the fighter torso can be stored in the player-owned house armour case, making it the preferred option.
