WhileSon GokuofDragon Ballis generally regarded as the strongest character in all of manga and anime, there is one Narutovillain who'd be able to take him down. When manga fans compare the power levels of manga characters, a theoretical battle between any high-level character and Goku is inevitable, and usually the debate ends with Goku coming out victorious. Saitama of One Punch Man is perhaps the only character that fans agree could beat the Saiyan. However, strength isn't the only factor that matters, as one Naruto villain proves.
Goku is the protagonist of Akira Toriyama'scritically acclaimedDragon Ballseries. He is amartial artistwho has the power to destroy entire planets. Each arc ofDragon Ballusually concludes with Goku or another character powering-up and gaining a new form or ability. Goku's most recent and most powerful upgrade is called Ultra Instinct and allows him to fight without having to process his actions, adding incalculable speed to his already god-tier power.

As for theNarutovillain that could defeat him, it is none other than Itachi Uchiha. Itachi's full power potential is unknown due to the fact that he died at a young age, and that he was infected with an unknown sickness. Despite this, he was still one of the series' most powerful and proficient ninja, and is a master of more than a few techniques. Itachi would probably lose to Goku in strict hand-to-hand combat, although he could hold his own for a while, but Itachi's true strength lies in his non-physical capabilities. His Sharingan grants him a number of powerful jutsu and illusory tactics that Goku would succumb to, as the Saiyan's power mostly lies in his physical prowess.
Goku could probably overcome Itachi's Amaterasu and Susanoo fairly easily (although it might be a different story if Itachi had a Perfect Susanoo). However, Tsukuyomi, Izanagi, and Izanami are different beasts altogether. Tsukuyomi, which traps its target in a hellish nightmare for what feels like 3 days, would deal a lot of damage to Goku, but it probably wouldn't defeat him. Izanagi allows Itachi to change reality, but he could only use it once. Izanami is the real key to Itachi's success. The god-tier jutsu would trap Goku's conscious in a time loop, while his body would stand motionless. In the event that Ultra Instinct allows Goku's body to move despite succumbing to Izanami, Itachi could then deal the final blow with Amaterasu.
Another advantage Itachi has is the ability to cast genjutsu by simply pointing his finger at his foe, something he could easily trick Goku with. If this hypothetical battle were to happen, Goku's best advantage would lie in taking out Itachi almost immediately, without giving him any time to lay the groundwork for genjutsu. But the longer the battle goes on, the more likely it becomes that Itachi wins.
Goku may be Dragon Ball'sultimate brawler, but the trickery of a ninja givesItachi many ways to take him down that down depend on swapping blows. There's no doubt thatGokuis physically stronger in this hypothetical battle, butNaruto'sItachicould easily overcome him with a number of different tactics.
