In order to expedite the pick-up of your race bib, please bring your ID and QR code confirmation email. QR code emails will be sent the Wednesday of race week.
If you are unable to attend the Race Expo, you may send a proxy to pick up your race packet on your behalf. You must have signed the event’s digital liability waivers when registering for the event. To verify if you’ve signed your waivers, please visit yourACTIVE MyEvents account and locate your Bay to Breakers entry. If you have not signed your waiver yet, you will see a large red error message that your waivers have not yet been signed.
Please send your proxy with a copy of your driver’s license (digital picture is OK) and your QR code confirmation email to expedite the pick-up process. QR code emails will be sent Wednesday of race week. Proxies may only pick-up packets for up to 3 people.
If you are unable to attend the Race Expo, you may elect to add packet mailing to your registration. This can be added at the time of registration.
If you’ve already registered and would like to add packet mailing to your registration:
- Visit your ACTIVE MyEvents account
- Find your 2024 Bay to Breakers entry
- Click the “Purchase merchandise” button
- Look for the “HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO PICK UP YOUR RACE PACKET?”
- Add “Mail My Packet” for $25
The deadline to add Packet Mailing is April 30th.

All tickets must be purchased online in advance to race Sunday. This is the fastest and most convenient way to get out of the finish line area. Avoid the lines, reserve your individual seat today and leave getting to/from the event to us.
