Easy messaging app, use common sense
Line is not Line Play, like other reviews state. My child uses Line strictly to chat with family overseas. It’s easy and the free filters are fun. We don’t let the kids play games on any app or chat with strangers. For a messaging app it’s great.

Not the best security and trust of use.
This app is now very crowded, abused and exploited.Public opinion.Not a save app to use for expat. Technical opinion- Too much dead code making app load slow- App has bad sepeartion of concerns, you can see how poorly the settings are organised, hard to find what you looking for.- security is another issue, it is very easy to forward sensitive information and images to anyone on LINE, without giving consent, due to the nature of use Thai people like to forward sensitive documents like passport copies via LINE,Also companies (businesses) in Thailand do the same without customer consent, and data privacy act.- this app is a social public platform and not for business operations.

Beware of gacha games like this.
Don't bother with this app. Especially if you plan on spending money on it. I was just recently banned indefinitely (forever) for a petty refund of $12. It was only an accident too. Support won't answer me back or show any human compassion, that people can make mistakes. I've gave this game nearly $5000 of my hard earned money. Now I've lost all of that. Wasted money on a game, that could care less about its players.

Great app for 10 and up Line app not line play
Line is a great communication app and social network app there is no posting or anything it’s just direct message that’s it! So maybe 9 year old’s should not have it but 10 and up! Is fine

Looks like a game for children, but should be for adults only.
This game has gambling in the form of "gachas" on it and they do anything that they can to lure you into spending real money on the game. 99% of the player base is in their mid 20's, and the only real way to get anywhere in the game is to be an adult with a job and money. With most of the player base being adults, most conversations in public meetup rooms are adult conversations, no one under the age of 18 should be playing this.

Parents beware! This app isn't what I thought it was... Scary wake up call - read before installing on your kids phone/tablet/computer
This app was disguised as a kid-friendly digital play world, where kids are playing dress up with avatars, and socializing about general kid stuff.I always do due diligence, and read the parent reviews before installing apps on my kids phone. I should have looked a lot closer at Line Play before installing it! At first glance this app looked tame, moderated, and not at all dangerous. This one slipped by me, and was my wake up call as a parent. I thank GOD I caught this one when i did.I saw my 10 y/o daughter acting strange one day with her phone. When i pried it out of her hands, i found several chat logs that were incredibly inappropriate, and disturbing. The app is essentially intro to match/facebook for kids. There's plenty of "kids" bullying/blackmailing for pics. There's un-moderated filthy language everywhere. Sexual harassment on all levels. "kids" trying to express themselves in little digital sim worlds. "Kids" have "diary" posts which are public facing to all "friends" in the app. This is essentially the Facebook wall. They can post pictures of themselves, or public statements about anything and everything, seeking attention in the form of "likes" and "comments".After digging into this app a bit more, I found my daughter was living in an imaginary world, telling small and big lies about herself and her family. She was trying to meet and have conversations with strangers who she "thought" were her age, and were her "friends", and are "boys".My daughter posted pictures of herself :( Not at all inappropriate, but she still broke one of the primary rules we have with internet safety.As her father, the simple solution is she's going to unplug until further notice. all apps with any "social" aspect are gone.The phone is for making phone calls, not a doorway for predators.

Child predators
My daughter is only 9years old and has a tablet to play on for an hour a day. I found my daughter playing this app and people are messaging her about p*rn and sex and asking her to post pictures of her body!! This app should require a parental consent!!!
