QB has my deposits on hold because there is a balance to on a qb account. No place to pay this and resolve. All I get is that I'll receive a call in 3-5 bus days (2024)

Why is my deposit on hold in QuickBooks? ›

If you notice a recent payment you accepted is on hold, this doesn't mean there's anything wrong. It means we need to review the payment to make sure everything's alright. Note: If you're new to QuickBooks Payments, the first few payments can take longer to process while we set everything up.

If you see the message “Your account is on hold, contact us" when attempting to run payroll or contractor payments and you have an email with the subject "Important: Urgent issue with the payroll account for [Business name]", it means there's a payroll transaction we'd like to look at.

If you process customer payments before 3 PM PT, we'll deposit them in your bank account the next business day. If you process payments after 3 PM PT, we'll deposit them in two business days. If you're brand new to QuickBooks Payments, your ACH payments will take a bit longer during your first month.

How to Fix Undeposited Funds. Getting rid of them depends on how they were entered. Basically, you are changing the Deposit To selection from “Group with Other Undeposited Funds” to a bank account. That wipes out (zeros) the Undeposited Funds and increases your bank account balance.
