I'm sorry but it's annoying to see people aping with melee. Have you ever landed with 3 people melee ing you at once? Have you ever been in a gun fight and someone who was panicking just melee you or punched you twice without a second thought to reload their weapon?
It's low key annoying and it's worse if your in a storm. The storm messes up your aim because the ticks makes your tracking/cursor move. But if you get punched by someone in a storm you can't really do anything about it in the heat of the moment.
I just want to see Melee toned down a little for Season 4. 20 damage is 5 melee hits to kill. 30 damage is 4 melee hits to kill someone. I'm talking about if your health is at 100 and not the full 200.
Apex Legends should be more gun focused and fast paced. Melee does more damage than most weapons which I will say isn't as skillful.
However, if you're Legend hits someone with a Heirloom. It should be 30 damage. Is that fair, you bet it is! I have ZERO issues with a Heirloom doing 30 damage versus a normal punch/kick. Those should be 20.
This will change Boxing at the end of matches too because not everyone has a Heirloom but I still think it fair. If you box someone with a Heirloom. You have to hit them 5 times and they have to hit your 4 times. Fair to me.
