How do I get a refund from Apple support? ›

Sign in to reportaproblem.apple.com. Tap or click "I'd like to", then choose "Request a refund". Choose the reason why you want a refund, then choose Next. Choose the app, subscription or other item, then choose Submit.

Apple offers refunds for eligible items purchased from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books—apps, music, books, and in-app subscriptions. You can request a refund for: Accidental or unauthorized purchases. Duplicate charges.

Returns Policy

If you are dissatisfied with an item, you can request a return through Order Status. For eligible iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch and third-party products, you have up to 15 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return. Items ineligible for a return include: Opened memory.

If your refund is approved, the funds will be applied to the same payment method that you used to buy the item. Here's how long it takes for a refund to appear on your account or statement: Store credit – It may take up to 48 hours to see the refund in your Apple Account balance.

If you have requested a refund, you must wait until Apple has approved. Then you will receive a message from Apple. Refunds are not guaranteed.

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. Only items that have been purchased directly from Apple, either online or at an Apple Retail Store, can be returned to Apple.

How to get an Apple Pay refund online? ›

You can generally return purchases made using Apple Pay by providing the receipt. When the merchant processes your refund, it goes back to your payment card automatically. If you don't have the receipt or the merchant asks for more information, you can provide the Apple Pay card number for your payment card.

On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card. Under Latest Card Transactions, tap the Apple Store transaction, and then tap it again. Tap "Report an Issue," then tap "I need help with this transaction."

You can't cancel the refund request.

If you change your mind, you can return your Standard or Configured-to-Order hardware to us within 14 calendar days of delivery. If your item was originally delivered to a pickup point, you can return your order to us within 14 calendar days of collecting your item.

Apple allows you to request a refund for standalone purchases, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or movies purchased through the iTunes Store.

Your eligibility for a refund depends on the company's policy and several other factors, such as when you've canceled and the reason for canceling. Some companies may offer a “grace period” during which you can cancel the subscription and get a refund.
