Description
This Reuben slider recipe has a big savory flavor for an easy appetizer. The Reuben Sliders are like little individual sandwiches with lots of flavor. Try these party sliders are a perfect appetizer or for a main dish at your next family or friend party.
Ingredients
Units Scale
- 1 package of King’s sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound of thin sliced Corned Beef (cold cuts)
- 1 pound of Swiss Cheese Slices
- 1 jar of Sauerkraut
- 1/2 bottle of Thousand Island Dressing
- 1/2 stick of melted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Caraway Seeds
- Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° F.
- Using spray oil, spray a 13Ă—9 baking pan so that the bottoms of the rolls do not stick. (you can use a baking tray or sheet pan)
- Separate each roll and cut it in half.
- On top of each roll layer in a nice bundle 1 to 2 slices of Corned Beef. I used deli corned beef but you can use leftover corned beef slices from a corned beef roast.
- On top of the corned beef place a layer of slices of Swiss cheese depending on the size of your store’s slices.
- Remove the sauerkraut from the jar and drain as much water as you can to keep the sliders from getting too soggy. On top of the cheese layer about 1 tablespoon of sauerkraut on top of the Swiss cheese.
- Add to the top 1 tablespoon of Thousand Island Dressing. Replace the top half of the rolls.
- Make the Butter Mixture in a small bowl by melting the butter in the microwave. Add to the melted butter the onion powder and the garlic powder.
- Brush the butter mixture onto the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle the topwith Caraway Seeds andSea Salt.
- Spray one side of foil with spray oil and set lightly on top of the rolls so they do not get too brown.
- Bake at 350° F for 30 minutes, remove the foil, and bake another 5 minutes until the top of the rolls are golden brown.
- If any are left over you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a day or two.
