― In-game Description

The Ronin Attire is an armor given to Jin by Ryuzo during the "Blood on the Grass" mission. The Ronin Attire has stats that increases your stealth, increases your melee damage, and reduces how long you are detected for once stealth is broken. The Ronin Attire also includes a Straw Hat that is visually upgraded with each upgrade level. The Ronin Attire is one of the few sets of armor which will not change in appearance if it is upgraded. Despite the fact that Ryuzo gives the armor to Jin in order for him to blend in with the other Ronin, this armor provides no additional stealth perks, and Ronin will still be able to detect Jin just as easily as with any other attire. The dyes that Jin can purchase can also be seen being worn by other Ronin in the world.

• Reduces enemy detection speed by 10% (20% at level 2, 30% at level 5)
• Moderate increases to melee damage (Major at level 3, Massive at level 5)
• After leaving pampas grass while crouched, enemies will be much slower to detect you (significantly slower at level 4)

Except the default color, all Armour Dyes can be purchased from various Merchants for 10 Flowers each. It should be noted the Ronin Attire as the most dyes available in the game.
