No fan should ever experience being turned away due to a fake or counterfeit ticket. How do SafeTix prevent counterfeiting?
Ticketmaster SafeTix are powered by a new and unique barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds. This greatly reduces the risk of ticket fraud from stolen or illegal counterfeit tickets. If you take a closer look at your ticket, you may notice that it has a gliding movement, making it in a sense, alive. That movement is our ticket technology actively working to safeguard you every second.
Can I still enter my event with a screenshot of my ticket?
No. Your barcode includes leading-edge technology with fraud and counterfeit protection, so you won’t be able to use screenshots or printouts. When you arrive at your event, use the Ticketmaster app or mobile website to locate your tickets. Your phone’s your ticket, which you’ll show to the ticket scanner, get your phone scanned – and you’re in!

How do I find my ticket in the Ticketmaster app?
1. Download our App from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Sign into your Ticketmaster account, then tap on My Events to locate your order.
3. Tap your orders to view your tickets. At entry, show your phone to get scanned and you're in!
What if I don’t have a smartphone or my phone is broken?
If you have a cracked screen, or are just not using a smart device – no problem. Simply visit the box office at the venue upon arrival. Have your ID and order number handy and you will be issued a physical ticket.
I’m worried about my battery or cell service, what do I do?
If either is an issue, this ticket has you covered. Once you view it in our App, your ticket is automatically saved so it’s always ready.
I lost my phone, what do I do?
Don’t worry, we’ve got you. Simply visit the box office at the venue upon arrival. Have your ID and order number handy and you will be issued a physical ticket.
Are SafeTix available to use at all events?
We are actively working to bring SafeTix to all your favorite events. If you have SafeTix, you’ll see a gliding movement over the ticket barcode, making it in a sense, alive. That movement is our ticket technology actively working to safeguard you every second. With any mobile ticket, we recommend a couple ways to get ready in advance.
1. Transfer any tickets you have for friends and family in advance. This will help everyone enter the venue on their own.
2. View your ticket in our App. Once you view it, your ticket is automatically saved so it’s always ready – even if cell phone service is slow. Screenshots and printouts will not be accepted at entry.

Transferring Tickets
How do I transfer tickets?
1. Sign in to your account and tap your event to find your tickets.
2. Tap the Transfer Tickets button (event eligibility may vary).
3. Select the ticket you want to transfer.
3. Enter the name and email of the person you’re sending it to, then click Send.
How does a ticket transfer work? Is it safe?
Yes, it’s safe. When you transfer a ticket, the person you are sending the tickets to must accept the tickets in our secure marketplace. When they accept their ticket, we issue a new barcode to them. This keeps you protected and they get secure tickets they can trust.
What is the benefit of transferring tickets?
Transferring a ticket allows you to securely send some or all of your tickets directly from your Ticketmaster account to other people. When you use our Transfer Ticket feature, it allows everyone going to the event to have their own ticket in-hand. It's easy, safe, and completely free.
Can I transfer tickets for any event?
Most events allow you to transfer tickets, but some may have rules and restrictions. To know right away if your event allows it, look for the "Transfer Tickets" button on your order. If transfer is not available, the button will not be there.
How do I know if the tickets I’ve transferred have been accepted?
Once you transfer a ticket, you’ll see one of two statuses. If you see "Waiting to accept," the recipient has not accepted your transfer yet. You may want to send them a reminder to check their email for the transfer notification. If you see "Accepted by," this means the recipient has accepted your tickets and they are no longer available for use in your account.

What is Fan-to-Fan resale?
Life happens and plans change, so we built a way for fans to safely sell tickets they can no longer use. Right here on Ticketmaster, you can securely sell tickets to other fans who are looking for seats. Fan-to-Fan resale tickets are 100% verified, reissued with a new barcode in the name of the buyer, and can’t be counterfeited.
Why should I use Ticketmaster to sell my tickets?
Selling your tickets on Ticketmaster enables you to instantly reach millions of fans who need seats, and gives you access to sell your tickets to any fan, anywhere. When you list with us, we help manage your entire transaction, from listing, to transfers, to getting paid. How do I list and sell my tickets with Ticketmaster?
1. Sign in to your account and enter your ticket barcode, or you can list them right from your account.
2. Once you’ve located your order, tap Sell.*
3. Select and price the ticket(s) you'd like to sell.
4. Tell us how you’d like to get paid.
5. Review your listing and you're all set.
* In some cases, only select Ticketmaster events may allow tickets to be resold.
How do I view, edit, or remove my listing?
Ticketmaster makes it easy to manage your ticket listings. You can view, edit, and manage your listing(s) through your Listings page.
How and when do I get paid if I sell tickets?
Once your tickets sell, we automatically notify you via email. If you want to check the status of your listed tickets, simply sign in to your account. You'll receive payment within 7-10 business days. If you have chosen to get paid by direct deposit, you may have to verify two small deposits in your account.
