While they are registered as separate legal entities, PayMaya and Maya Bank will provide an all-in-one, integrated digital payments and digital bank services to the whole Maya ecosystem of consumers, businesses, communities, and government agencies alike via the Maya app (formerly PayMaya app), Maya Business (formerly PayMaya Enterprise), and Maya Center (formerly Smart Padala).

The new Maya app will replace PayMaya when you update or download it from Google Play, App Store or Huawei App Gallery. Don’t worry, all the features you’ve enjoyed on PayMaya will still be available on the new Maya app.

Make sure that your phone’s operating system/ OS meets the following requirements to download and enjoy Maya:
For iOS/ Apple: iOS11 and above
For Android: Android 4.1 and above

What will happen to my current transactions on the PayMaya app?

Yes, your PayMaya transactions will still be reflected in your new Maya app.

Can I avail of digital bank products and services without registering for a Maya app?

Will there be changes with how I access my old PayMaya app?

None, you may still log in to the new Maya app using your PayMaya Username and Password.

Will there be changes with the fees?

None, the same fees apply in the Maya app.

Will my old physical and virtual PayMaya VISA / Mastercard still work?

Yes, you may continue using your existing physical and virtual PayMaya Visa/Mastercard Cards until the indicated expiry dates within the card

Where can I purchase the new physical Maya Card?

You may purchase your PayMaya physical card through the following channels:

  • From the My Cards section of the Maya App
  • Online at https://store.paymaya.com if you are on desktop
  • The SM Store Business Services
  • Robinsons Department Store Business Centers
  • Select Maya Negosyo Agents

What card schemes will be available with the new Maya Card?

Physical - Both Visa and Mastercard variants will be available for purchase.

Virtual – The scheme from your virtual card will be assigned automatically upon activating your virtual card.

Can I own both the old PayMaya Visa/Mastercard, alongside the new Maya Card within the same PayMaya number?

Yes, you may own both the old and new design but the total physical cards linked to your Maya account should be at most three (3).

Will I be receiving a new Maya virtual card?

Existing virtual cards will remain the same, however, coming very soon this year <End June> your virtual card will be re-skinned with the new and rebranded look of Maya.

Can I withdraw money from my Maya account using the new Maya Card?

Yes, you can withdraw money from your Maya Card if all the following criteria are met:

  • You have activated your Maya physical card and have nominated a PIN.
  • You have an upgraded Maya wallet account.
  • Your Maya Account has sufficient balance for withdrawal. If you wish to withdraw using the account balance from your Maya Savings, you need to make a fund transfer to your Maya wallet first.

Follow these steps to withdraw:

  • Go to an ATM accepting VISA or Mastercard withdrawals locally or abroad
  • Insert your physical Maya card
  • When prompted, choose “Savings”
  • Choose or type your desired amount for withdrawal
  • Enter your card PIN

Claim your cash and receipt You will receive an SMS about your withdrawal or see from your app Activity list the confirmation that you have withdrawn money from your account. You will be charged an ATM withdrawal fee depending on the chosen ATM bank provider.

How do I link my new Maya Card to my account?

You can activate your Maya Card via your Maya app by following these steps:

  • On your Maya app, navigate to the Cards section at the top of the homescreen
  • Tap "Activate a Maya Card"
  • Input the required details such as your 16-digit card number, Expiry date, 3-digit CVV
  • Nominate your 6-digit PIN - You will use this when for some Point-of-Sale payments and when you withdraw money from any ATM with the card
  • Tap "Link Card"
  • Select "Done" to complete the card link

Can I still buy the old PayMaya card once the new Maya Card is now available?

No. Upon launch of Maya, we will only be maintaining inventory on the new rebranded Maya Card design.

I just availed of the old PayMaya card. Can I change this to the new design?

You can get the new Maya Card for free when you sign up for Maya Savings! Just deposit at least 15k to your Maya Savings account.

Is there a way to get the new Maya Card for free?

Yes! You will be eligible for a free Maya Card if you maintain at least P15,000 ADB on your Maya Savings account.

How many new physical cards can I purchase at a given time?

You may purchase a maximum of three (3) cards per transaction, per month. Automatic cancellation of card order if exceeded.
