What is the Self Registration Tool?
The Self Registration Tool allows you to activate your secure e-mail account by creating your password and challenge questions.
In addition, the Self Registration Tool allows you to manage your password and other account information online.
Which password do I use to log in to the Self Registration Tool?
If this is your first time accessing the Self Registration Tool, use the password you setup during the activation process.

If you previously submitted a password change through the Self Registration Tool, use the updated password specified for your account.

Whom do I contact if I receive an error message?
Select "Technical Support" at the top of the screen. You will be prompted for your User ID. Your User ID will be used to instantly find your bank contact information.
What are challenge questions?
Challenge questions allow you to reset your password that you have forgotten.
During account activation, you will be prompted to create six challenge questions and answers.
If you forget your password, click "Forgot your password" link on the Self-Registration Tool log in screen. You will be prompted to answer three randomly selected challenge questions in order to verify your identity.
Why do I have to set up six challenge questions?
Bank of America Corporate Information Security requires that a minimum of six challenge questions be established when used to verify your identity.
Can I set up more than six challenge questions?
No, you cannot set up more than six challenge questions.
How often can I change my password?
You can change your password only once every 24 hours.
When I change my password using the Self Registration Tool, what systems are affected?
Please contact your Support Administrator to determine which systems utilize the same user ID and password. If you do not know who your Support Administrator is, click on the Technical Support link at the top of the page to obtain this information.
What will I need to do if I am locked out of my account?
In order to unlock your account or password, you will need to contact technical support. If you do not know who your Support Administrator is, click on the Technical Support link at the top of the page to obtain this information.
