Can two people share an Airbnb account? ›

We'd love to welcome your loved ones into Airbnb. But to help maintain transparency and trust throughout our community, you can't book on their behalf unless you're staying together.

If you are a host the simplest way is to add your wife as a co host so she will get sight of all the bookings etc. As a co-host she will not have access to everything on your account but we just share a password to make it easier.

If you're the account owner of a listing with Co-Hosts but not a Co-Host yourself, you may create a team and add team members. But if you're a Co-Host, you must remove yourself as such from all listings in order to join or create a team.

Co-Hosts help listing owners take care of their home and guests. They're often a family member, neighbour, trusted friend or someone the Host has hired to help with the listing. Hosts can always contact Co-Hosts by phone or email.

When you book a stay for someone else, you handle the reservation request, introductions, and payment—then transfer responsibility for the trip to the guest. Once a reservation is accepted, both you and the guest join the message thread with the Host so you both receive all trip communications.

If you need to find someone to help manage your listing for you, you can also find a Co-Host by using our experienced Co-Host services platform (where available). You can select permissions for each Co-Host to limit what they can access and manage on your listing.

All guests must be 18 or older and have or create an Airbnb account to join your trip.

Divide equally between the number of guests. If one wishes to have the largest room, then assign two shares to them to make it “fair” to all. You can also opt to divide by number of rooms or beds. Take into account meals, chores, etc when you factor in costs.
