As a personal banking client you'll need your RBC Royal Bank Client Card or credit card to enrol.

If you are an automotive finance, mortgage, credit line, Homeline, loan or investment client, you’ll need your account number and transit number.

If you’d like to enrol your business account for Online Banking, you’ll need your RBC Royal Bank Business Client Card.

Your banking password is the same for both online and mobile, so you can reset it either way.

Online banking:

Go to theOnline Banking Sign-In pageand selectReset Your Password, just below the Password field. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

RBC Mobile Users:

If your account is temporarily disabled, you can tap theReset Password link anytime directly from theSign Inpage. Then follow the instructions on the screen.

You will be sent a temporary authentication code via text (SMS), email or voice mail, which ever you prefer.

Remember:You’ll need your RBC Royal Bank Client Card number or an RBC Royal Bank Credit Card number associated with Online Banking.

The next time you’re going to sign in:

  • Enter your Client Card number/username and password

You can make a bill payment in Online Banking.

Before you can make bill payments in Online Banking, you'll need to set up a list of payees. Sign in to Online Banking and select the "Manage Payees" option from the Accounts Summary page. You can then choose “Add Payee” in the left side menu and follow the instructions.

To make a payment online:

  • From the Accounts Summary page go toQuick Payments & Transfers on the right side of the page. You can also click on "Pay Bills" from the information box at the top of the page when viewing your chequing or savings account.
  • Select the Amount, the "From" Account and the recipient in the "To" field.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and select “Submit.”

Whether you're at home or away you can arrange to have payments and transfers made at a predetermined frequency or specified dates. Simply specify the amount and how often you want the transfers to occur (such as once a week, every 2 weeks or once a month).
