SpacePak is also very efficient when compared to conventional air conditioning systems. SpacePak reduces the amount of humidity by an additional 30% over conventional systems making it very cost effective and comfortable.

Generally, it takes five to seven work days to install your whole SpacePak or Unico system. Of course, the larger your home size, the longer the installation. We take the time to make sure every installation fits the home perfectly to ensure optimal system performance, longevity, and energy efficiency.

The environmental system on an aircraft is often called a “PACK.” The air for an air cycle system is supplied by the engines. Excess air or bleed air is bled off from the engines and this hot air is routed through a primary heat exchanger to cool slightly then into the air cycle machine (ACM).

How many SpacePak supplies per ton? ›

a SpacePak system is having the proper number of outlets. Six (6) to Seven (7) outlets per ton are recommended for optimal 35-40 CFM airflow from each outlet under normal conditions to maximize aspiration. patterns, drapes and bed placement are all factors to consider.

The date of production/manufacture or age of SpacePak® HVAC equipment can be determined from the serial number located on the data plate.

The PACK is the primary system for conditioning the airflow within the ECS. It consists of Valves, Heat Exchangers, an Air-Cycle Machine (ACM) and a High-Pressure Water Separator (HPWS).

"Packs" on aircraft typically refer to the "packs system" or "air conditioning packs." These are essential components of an aircraft's environmental control system (ECS). The packs regulate and control the temperature and pressure of the air supplied to the aircraft cabin and co*ckpit.
