2x10 Relationship Building: The 2x10 strategy involves spending two minutes per day for 10 consecutive school days connecting with an individual student to build authentic relationships and offer extra social-emotional support.

10–2–2 MODEL

In this model, students take notes for 10 minutes. They then spend 2 minutes collaboratively processing notes (if they do not have access to a learning partner, this can still be done individually). Once they have discussed their notes with someone else, they process them individually for 2 minutes.

10 + 2 (Ten Plus Two) The teacher presents for ten minutes, students share and reflect for two minutes, and then the cycle repeats.
