Food Franchises Amp Up Game Day with Gift Card Deals and Take-Out Specials

With Super Bowl LVIII right around the corner, football fans and excited spectators are eagerly planning watch parties filled with wings, pizza, and more. About three in five American consumers plan to watch the Big Game this year, with 82% intending to watch from home and 4% planning to head to a restaurant or bar, according to Numerator. Many also order takeout from these food franchises and enjoy it at home, prompting franchisors to promote pre-orders to ensure demand can be met for the Big Game.
Food franchises never fail to score touchdowns with fans during the Big Game, and here is a sampling of restaurant deals and promotions for the 2024 Super Bowl.
7-Eleven
To end the football season with a bang, 7-Eleven has great deals for the Big Game. With 7NOW Delivery, fans can snag any flavor pizza for $5. Five bone-in wings are available for $5 through 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards. For $14, 7Rewards or Speedy Rewardsmembers can purchase a large cheese or pepperoni pizza and 10 bone-in wings to feed the whole crew. Guests also get $15 off on 7Now orders of $30 or more.
Applebee’s
It wouldn’t be the Super Bowl without wings; an estimated 1.45 billion of them were consumed during last year’s Big Game. To get a piece of the action, Applebee’s has a deal on the fan-favorite party treat. Customers who make a $40 purchase for carryout or delivery through Applebees.com or the brand’s mobile app get 20 free boneless wings. The deal can be redeemed using the code BIGGAME24 on February 11.
Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar
At Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, customers get free delivery when they order online or on the app for the Big Game. The minimum order is worth $10, and the offer is valid only on February 11.
Bar Louie
Whether you’re cheering on the San Francisco 49ers or Kansas City Chiefs at home or out-and-about, Bar Louie has football fans covered with great deals. From February 10-11, guests can order three appetizers for only $35. Those hosting Big Game watch parties get free delivery on orders (including platters) made from the restaurant franchise’s website. For the sixth year in a row, Buffalo Wild Wings is bringing back its “overtime button” for the Big Game. If Super Bowl LVIII goes into overtime, the restaurant franchise is offering one free order of six boneless or traditional wings on February 26 from 2-5 p.m.
Cicis Pizza
Through February 11, Cicis’ is bringing back its Piezilla, a massive pizza with 64 slices, starting at $49.99. Fans can also order one of five Value Pack options that feature different combinations of pizzas and sides for two to eight people. These include the Poppers Value Pack (above), which consists of two Giant 1-Topping Pizzas with 12 Poppers starting at $29.99.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
Through February 11, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is ready to serve hungry fans with game day specials. These specials include the BYB Wings & Ribs Party Pack for$134.40; the BYB Original Party Pack for $140; the XL Pack for $84; and the Family Pack for $61.60. Hooters is enhancing the game day experience with dine-in, carry out, and to-go specials at select locations. Through February 11, dine-in customers can enjoy The Postseason Pick, which features 10 wings of any style, curly fries, and a Bud Light or fountain drink for $16.99. Bud Light pitchers are also available for $11 each. MVPs at watch parties can make a winning play by ordering Hooters football party packs for to-go or delivery only. KFC
Just in time for Super Bowl LVIII, KFC has two great deals. The new Smash’d Potato Bowl (above) is available on the fast-food franchise’s app and website for $3.49. The menu item features mashed potatoes topped with fries, cheese sauce, bacon crumbles and a three-cheese blend. The $20 Taste of KFC Meal comes with six pieces of fried chicken plus four sides (mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, corn, cheddar mac & cheese) and four biscuits.
Little Caesars
To keep fans focused on more than just food and commercials, Little Caesars is triggering the Slices-N-Stix Super Bowl Trigger Promotion if a pick 6 occurs during the Big Game. Fans can get a piece of the action by signing up for the pizza franchise’s app; tapping the “Challange” option in the app menu and accepting it; purchasing a Slices-N-Stix, Slices-N-Stix Bacon, or Slices-N-Stix Jalapenos between February 5 – 10; and hoping a pick 6 happens!
MOD Pizza
To celebrate Super Bowl LVIII, MOD Pizza released a new Tailgate Trio lineup: Buffalo Chicken, Bacon Jalapeño Popper and Spinach Artichoke Dip. Guests can order these pies for $8 on the pizza franchise’s website and app. Additionally, the classic cheese pizza is $7 through February 11.
Newk’s Eatery
Newk’s Eatery is making the Super Bowl a weekend-long extravaganza. In celebration of National Pizza Day and the Big Game, the food franchise is offering two pizzas and a salad for $20 at participating locations. The deal lasts through February 9 – 11, and the pizza options include pepperoni, sausage and pepperoni, Margherita, Newk’s “Q” or BBQ chicken, along with Caesar, Greek or garden salads.
Papa Johns
Inspired by the fact that the Big Game is taking place in Las Vegas, Papa Johns created a Sin City-worthy sweepstakes. Between February 8 – 11, SONIC app users can enjoy a BOGO deal on Buffalo Chicken Dip Bites for online or in-person orders. The deal excludes the 20 pc. Buffalo Chicken Dip Bites size.
Starbird
To help guests take their Super Bowl parties up a notch, Starbird has two Gameday Packages. Beginning February 5, fans can preorder the Small Package for $54.97, which includes 20 wings, 10 chicken tenders, two Super Slaw, and two sauces. This package feeds four to five people. Serving eight to 10 people, the large package costs $94.97 and consists of 40 wings, 20 chicken tenders, four Super Slaw, and four sauces.
The Greene Turtle
The Green Turtle franchise is gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday this February 11 with different drink specials for every quarter of the game. During the first quarter, guests can enjoy $1 Bud Light Pints. They can continue the fun with $2 House Margaritas during the second quarter. The Big Game is rounded off with $3 Fireball Shots and $4 Vegas Bombs for the third and fourth quarters respectively.
